Indeed.

I think it's a no , at least I hope it is.
If it's yes , they would probably say clearly that Milan have signed Ronaldo.

But we'll have to wait a bit more , cause you never know with Milan and Galliani.

it should be a "NO" ... otherwise they would have mentioned that Ronaldo is a Milan player or something along those lines.

you are right about Gourcuff and Foggia not being established but they didn't cost us much - the Frenchman was 2.5-3 mil and Foggia returning from loan, I think. For Gago, if I remember correctly, Boca were asking something like 10-15 mil last year and refused offers by Real and another spanish team, I believe.
Plus he may very well be a non-EU player and if that's the case, then we have another factor to worry about here.

Solo in Brasile continuano a crederci
Ronaldo, 30 anni il 22 settembre. ReutersMILANO, 25 agosto 2006 - "L'A.C.

this basically says milan abandon Ronaldo, only in Brazil they say a transfer has been made!

Don't be confused, those are the official news.

Inter made an offer to Real to exchange Adriano with Ronaldo, and Calderon replied that he wants 10 million euro + Adriano for Ronaldo.
(my advice: don't try to understand these spaniards.)

I don't think anyone knows what's going on ...

I don't think giving Boca 5-7 million Euros as a downpayment on Gago now would stretch out budget a great deal. Then we can give them another 5-7 million euros next summer and complete the deal. We get the player and don't spend too much, Boca get some money now and keep the player and Gago gets to join a great team and pair up with his mate Mascherano ! Everyone's a winner.

AS also is saying the Galiani(talking to Mijatovic) argument that Real purchased Van Nistelrooy for 15MIL, and Ronaldo price needs to be near of this...But Mijatovic said that Milan sold Sheva for 45(in the same age of Ronaldo) and the logical is to ask for 35 for the brasilian...
The nice thing was that then, Galiani said that would pay 30 MIL for Ronaldo and Robinho But Mijatovic said that Robinho itīs not for sale, and finished the meeting...
Man, Galliani would have to make the same that the Real in Kaká case...Capello didnīt like Robinho for itīs body(Capello even isnīt fan os Casillas because of its height 1, 86 and is is thinking of bench Iker for Diego Lopez), and IMO Robinho will make Gilla or Pipo 2 times better...

jim since when has a definitive answer meant anything? Too many instances of "he's definitely not coming" morphing into "we'd like to present....." Thank God we've only 6 days left of this insanity.

But then we have the January transfer window to look forward too midori

I read today that Tottenham were trying to get Baptista for Ģ10 million but Real want Ģ12 million. After i laughed, i thought well what if he were being sold ?

I've liked Baptista since his SP days in Brazil, so i've always wanted Milan to make a move for him as i see him as an ideal like-for-like alternative to Seedorf. I know he had a less than successful first season at Madrid, but if he recaptured some of his Sevilla form (even though he was a bit further up the field for them) ... then wow, we'd have an amazing midfield quartet !

What do our Brazilian chums think ?

This is exactly why I have believed all along that there was little chance for Ronaldo to move to Milan. The relationship between the clubs is poor after Calderon's continued mouthing off about Kaka all summer. I knew that Madrid would try to involve Kaka in the deal -- which they surely were smart enough to realize was going to kill it -- and then they would demand too much money.

yes, I believe they can ... but I am not sure what are the rules of the FIGC and Serie A about buying non-EU players in January transfer window. I am not sure about this but I think we can buy non-EU for Serie A only in the summer or if we have bought a non-EU player in the summer, we wouldn't be able to do so in the winter window ... something like that but don't quote me on this one
