Wow our mercato is slow , not even rumours lately , hopefully thats good and we'll get a few signings BANG!! out of nowhere.

I actually prefer this slow mercato as opposed to what our usual mercato. I am sick and tired of hearing news about us closing in on about 40 players in one summer, watching Galliani fly back and forth across the whole world only to end up having nobody to show for and a statement of "We are PERFECT!" At least, I have no expectations this time around.

^^ too late, Galliani's already said Milan can compete for the scudetto saying we got Storari to replace Dida and Yepes to replace Favalli. Also worth noting that Allegri is almost 100% our next coach. Tassotti already said this week that he wants to talk to Milan and Allegri directly before deciding his future. Also, Galliani confirmed it to the press saying they are right about our next manager with Allegri but it's not official as he's still contracted to Cagliari until July.

with all that I say welcome to Yepes and Allegri and welcome back to Storari.

Galliani can say whatever he wants. He is a joke in the soccer business these days and Milan fans are finding other ways to entertain themselves on Saturdays.

I play golf on saturdays when im off work , and just like to be entertained by my own adventures.But that Storari and Yepes comment is great I mean Yepes is only 34 so way younger than favalinho and Storari is as good as Buffon when he's not playing.They should sign me only 26 fit and fast a winger too sure im awful for Milan but im cheap just a 60,000 a year contract for 20 years that will keep me happy.....oh and Im a good family man so i'll never want to leave...lol

Back to serious mercato business. Juve are in talks with CSKA for Krasic no price mentioned and are offering Diego for Aguero Im presuming this would involve cash aswell. Redknapp said Milan can offer what they like for Bale but it doesnt matter he won't be leaving and they have no offered anything anyway , and Galliani says we will not be signing Fabiano or any other player as we have to sell to buy....looks like that 20 million or 30 million whatever doesnt matter because it would appear to be gone.

Usual rumblings i guess I was thinking that we would chase Fabiano again or at least until he moves somewhere else and then say its too late.
Expectations are low , but from 20 - 30 - sell to buy - none is odd. But if we have to get rid of players to buy players or free up space then why Pippo extension WHY??

Bale - Milan: it's just rumours, I didn't read any official from Milan saying we are interested by the player, so Redknapp can wait for a long time one of our offers to refuse it, that will probably not happen.

About Galliani, he didn't say it this way (like you said, it sounds like we won't buy because we need to sell players and won't do it), he said that we will buy a striker if one of our strikers leaves (so it is said in the other way: with all these rumours about Borriello or Huntelaar leaving, it's the kind of sentence meaning that there's maybe something true in some of these rumours, now, to know which one is true or not, I let you have fun !! ).

About Pippo: the answer is "because if we didn't extend his contract, we wouldn't get money anyway as his contract was expired", so he's definitely not in the "players we can sell" box.

So our mercato, so far, has been the following:
- Dida out, Storari in (good)
- Favalli out, Yepes in (good)

And ... nothing else, well, maybe that means they are trying to do their job seriously this time ?

defeatest attitude by me , but what was the point of extending Pippo he will not be an asset and is taking up 2 or 3 mill a year , the Juve crap is also only rumours but i'd imagine they are happy with Borri Hunter Pippo and Pato.

Im not agreeing with Pippo at all that he has confidence in B&G to deliver and bring success back to Milan.For nothing that has happened in 4 years would give anyone confidence to bring success back to Milan to the top or near it.
