I don't think any newspaper is that stupid to link us to those players.(except for Rossi)They are all untouchable.

That's one theory.
Another one is that we have already secured a forward but have not yet annouced this transfer for certain reasons.

Agreed Tony, but I think you misunderstand my point, or maybe I wasnt clear enuf...what I mean to say is that Calderon and the Madrid "machine" is quite underhanded in their approach for players, and while Galliani is stubborn, he hasnt gone to quite the extent that Calderon and Madrid have in terms of player pursuit.

The Gazzetta will do what it takes to sell papers....but they havent photoshopped R10 in a Milan kit have they?

Plus, the Gazzetta isnt acting as Berlu or Galliani´s mouth piece...the way AS does...

Further, Laporta can only continue to say that the players wont be sold...until they put in a transfer request, or simply buy themselves out of their contracts, or if Berlu stumps for the "buy-out" clause...he has no choice but to reiterate what the club´s official position is...but as we all know, all that can be circumnavigated, once enuf money is on the table.

And Berlu has plenty of it.

No hating... not at all...but that must be the most ridiculous rumor I have heard in a long time...though the possibility of him being linked with us did cross my mind, once Brazil won the Copa...

But I really really really dont think he is Milan quality...I would rather us take Oliveira back from Zaragoza than to take this guy...

They may not be as egregious as AS, but make no mistake about it, Gazzetta is a paper that is unreservedly pro-Milan (to a lesser extent pro-Inter), and that includes pro-Berlu and pro-Galliani. Their daily edition is filled with news about Milan. Gazzetta may not concoct ludicrous conversations between two people; they would just do it more eloquently.

The difference between Gazzetta and AS is that the former is a respected paper, and has a staff of acclaimed writers while AS is a rag that takes fabrication to almost Orwellian lows. I don't think there is a Spanish equivalent of Gazzetta. The pink paper is almost iconic, while even Spanish readers acknowledge AS is a tabloid.

Franco would have blushed reading AS.

Vagner Love is not Milan calibre, not even close. And he had a below average Copa America, although he was important for Brasil during that last match against Argentina.
