i dont condone the ultras violence i think its counter productive and pointless but hopefully the management will take notice and compete the transfer of cissokho he is relatively cheap player and is likely to avoid any injuries compared to players like grosso or janku

Violence is pointless. Protest by not buying tickets is ok but is it going to matter to the management? I don't think so, not in a way to push them to start investing heavily any way.
The only way we move forward is with ambition from the top down. If Berlusconi can't or won't have it then time to sell.

@Rick
Why didn't you take the archive from last couple of years? When we signed Oliveira in the last minute, when we signed almost no one after we won CL, when we signed 'champions' like Ronaldinho last year? We can relax if there is good sign but how can people relax if they hear only negativity from Milan transfer news? |

Violence has solved some things in history. This is certainly not one of them.
Ambrosini is the new captain so we can safely rule out significant game time for Flamini (unless as RB which means none for Janku) Lets hope the droogies make our voices heard. Off to the Milkbar! In other news, Jerkoff has been snapped by Chelsea for 18m.

Violenve is not good, but if you think with the way they are behaving to the fans, with the words they are saying that we are better and stronger than inter, or that we don't need anyone because we are ok. They are joking and playing with us 100%, if you are stupid you can't understood that!
WITH THEY WAY THEY ARE ACTING THEY PUSH US TO THE VIOLENCE. Thank you silvio for the 20 beautifull years you have gaven to us, but like P.Maldini you have to quit, you have began a crap president and you are doing bad to the team instead of good. |

As for 2006, do you not recall that Milan was under a cloud of suspicion because of the scandal? No top players wanted to take a chance of signing for Milan and then ending up playing in Serie B! (Of course, even at the end of that summer, they signed some kid named Gourcuff who Milan fans weren't sure about and who never really panned out at Milan. What ever happened to him?) And everyone keeps talking about Milan signing no players, but even last summer -- with no Champions League to look forward to -- Milan was able to sign Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, Borriello and Flamini! What good does it do for you all to tear your hair out because Milan hasn't made a bunch of panic buys to hurry up and fill their squad out? Worrying until your hair turns grey isn't going to change a damned thing. Personally, I would rather Milan take the time to get the right players, rather than settling for the fast and easy ones. So I'm perfectly willing to wait until the end of August and see what the squad looks like then. Frankly, I'm much more concerned about what Milan ends up doing to build the team for the future than I am about whether or not Milan has this player or that player for the start of training or even for the opening of the season.

When you care about something as much as the Curva Sud does about Milan, and something negative happens, there is going to be violence, it's in human nature.
Milan to these guys is like a girlfriend or a wife that they love, and they do all they can to protect, and defend it. You can't tell these guys what to do. In a way yes it may be too extreme, but in a way you need to protect what you stand for. Unfortunately as sad as it is, we have to realize we probably won't get much if anything this mercato or ever again, until we get an owner who is willing to invest. |

![]() The other teams I was talking about isn't manchester united, chelsea, real madrid or any of the other top clubs in the world. I'm speaking more generally about supporters who ain't supporting one of these clubs. Alot of them are fearing for the existence of their football club. Here we are panicking and calling times desperate because we haven't bought some star players (yet, who knows what will happend). It's not like this is the worst time in AC Milans history. Maybe you are younger than me, but I've experienced worse seasons than the ones we've just been to. And since when does anyone care what Silvio or Galliani says? If you've payed attention the last years usually a player arrives the days after they've said that there wouldn't be any new players inn. And another thing about Galliani. I assume he works out of a budget. If he can't spend 30-40 mill on players, then it's probably not his head that should be ripped off for that. For faulty buys however, ok. Let's just not ruin this forum by our frustrations. Of course you can be mad and angry and not like whats happening here, but let's atleast try to get along ![]() |

I don't approve of violence, but I do think it was about time the fans protested the club's actions on the market. Yes, we understand that it's important to balance the books, especially in times like these, but has Milan forgotten that it needs to sell tickets, club merchandise, etc too? And it seems everyone has forgotten that the main goal of any football club should be to win as many matches as possible. We are looking at another season of fighting for a CL spot instead of trophies, and that is both infuriating and depressing.

![]() Just a couple of points: You're exactly right that Silvio and Uncle Fester always say all sorts of things that don't actually mean anything. Everyone who is up in arms about Silvio saying Milan doesn't need anything else to be competitive has a very short memory because he said exactly the same thing just days after selling Kaka. Yet Milan has been actively pursuing players all along. Just because he thinks Milan could do well with the squad it currently has (and I agree, actually, Milan is a top four squad right now) doesn't mean they aren't looking to improve it. As for the budget, you're exactly right. Everyone sees Real Madrid throwing all this money around and they think Milan should just meet whatever price the other club sets on players (or that the other club should accept any price from Milan). It doesn't work like that. The article I posted on the previous page regarding the Nesta transfer is a perfect example. Milan and Lazio began talking at the end of July. By mid-August, the deal was "dead" because the two clubs wouldn't come to an agreement on the fee. Yet Milan managed to acquire Nesta at a price closer to their own than to Lazio's just before the transfer window closed. It is said that patience is a virtue. And they ain't just whislin' Dixie when they say that. ![]()

Uh, Rick..... this sounds exactly like our transfer market now, at least the 2000 part does. If that is any indication, we're gonna lose our best player (2000: Weah, 2009: Kaka), then be linked to a bevy of top talents (2000: Becks, Rivaldo, 2009: Dzeko, Huntelaar), and in the end pull out of everything simply because we can't afford their asking prices, and languish in mid-table for the next two years until we somehow manage to become so "unlucky" enough to slip to a UEFA Cup spot (2001 and 2008), before anyone of decent value (2002:Nesta, 20XX: God knows...) comes to our rescue. Berlu's completely lost the plot on this one, he's outta fire, low on popularity, and stingy with his cash. I expect the only time he'll actually start signing anyone worth a mention will be when he realizes his popularity has sunk too far for him to win a vote, or when his own life depends on it. Seriously, who's he kidding, Maldini played at the top till he was 40, but Maldini is also a talent that comes around once every generation.... He can't expect everyone on the team to be able to repeat that feat. As for the facts regarding Sandro's capture, Lazio were in debt after messing up their financial accounts, they were bing forced to sell their stars, which included the like of Nedved, Veron and Stankovic, if you remember. We also had the lure of having Sandro play with Paolo. Who'd want to play with our back four nowadays? We also lost our enticement chip in Kaka as well. It makes a lot of difference here. At the moment, we're one of the worst clubs "financially speaking", no one else seems to have any NEED of selling their players. Last edited by Ryo; 06-07-2009 at 12:07. |

Sky sports news Ac Milan confirm that they have made bids today for Fabiano & Hunter , I hope that this dosn't mean the end of The Duck and it hopefully will mean that Boriello is going to Napoli not that I want to see the end of Boriello but rather him than Pato.

Rick, so who did we end up with at 2000, Redondo, and when was his first official game for Milan, 2002 or 2003. Great last minute signing, if you ask me, and how much did Milan paid for him-20mil or so. BTW, don't MIlan still have Sheva, and Bierhoff in 2000 to replace Weah at that time. On top of of that, Jose Mari also was playing for Milan. On top of that Maldini and Albertini were at their prime.
Then when Milan finally won something in 2003, they did spent money on Pippo(even though he is still great, Milan did overpaid for him considering Juve has no use for him), Rui Costa(overpaid), Nesta(fair deal), signed JDT and Rivaldo for free with high salaries. Sounded like spending spending and more spending to me. Then you can talk about Nesta, but it was a WC year and team tends to hold on to their top players after the WC as if the players have a good WC, their prices do go up. Rick, you can support and believe in Berlu and Galli all you want, but the facts are, they really have given up on Milan and its fans. I still believe a signing or two might come, but thats not going to be enough. Last edited by Gabriel489; 06-07-2009 at 12:38. |

I think they are after bidding 3 pots of strawberry jam for Fabiano and 4 Batman comics for hunter.
I don't think they'll sell Pato YET!!! as in 3 or 4 years he'll be worth 100 mil + |
