AC Milan players expect Kaka to stay

By PA SportsTicker

AC Milan star Kaka has not played his last game for the club, according to his teammates.

With Manchester City hoping to pull off a world record transfer before the end of the month, speculation over the Brazilian’s future is rampant, but Saturday’s appearance in a 1-0 win against Fiorentina may not be the last time the Rossoneri faithful get to see Kaka in their colors.

According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, Kaka still has a long-term future with the club.

“Kaka has played lots of decisive games for Milan and I think he will figure in a lot more,” he said.

Kaka’s teammates also feel he will be sticking around, at least until the summer.

“I would be surprised if he left,” teammate Clarence Seedorf said. “I don’t think he has made up his mind yet, but it would surprise me if he left us in January.”

David Beckham has only just joined the Serie A club and admits he would like to get to know Kaka a bit better over the next two months before he returns to the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

“He’s a great lad and it’s great to play in the team with him,” he said. “He is one of the best players in the world and it is obvious that the best players are always the focus of speculation.

“But he loves Italy and he loves Milan. I don’t think he will leave.”

Milan have reportedly agreed to let Kaka hear what City has to offer, but Beckham still expects Kaka to follow his heart.

Given the reception the Brazilian had on Saturday, with 65,000 voices calling on him to stay and pleading with the club not to sell him, Beckham is not too worried about City’s advances.

“I don’t think anybody in the dressing room is thinking about how much money they can earn,” the England international said. “It’s about playing with the best team with the best players in the world and winning trophies and it’s not always about money.

“Riccardo doesn’t need my advice. He will decide what he wants to do, but he loves Milan.”

And he plays fo LA Galaxy. I think he changed his mind and does not want to back to the US.

Kaka on the other hand is being pushed by Berlusconi to sign the contract.

Kaka will snub Manchester City mega deal - Exclusive

Kaka will snub Manchester City mega deal - Exclusive

By Paul Smith, sundaymirror.co.uk 18/01/2009

AC Milan believe Kaka will reject a move to Manchester City.

Despite accepting City's £100million bid and giving the Brazil superstar permission to speak to the struggling Premier League side, there is a growing belief among the Milan hierarchy - and Kaka's team-mates - that he will reject the world record deal.

Kaka's father and chief adviser, Bosco Leite, is due to arrive in Italy this weekend. But boardroom sources at the Italian giants sense Kaka has no interest in the move.

Leita is unhappy with Milan after they refused to renegotiate Kaka's contract last December, when he initially informed them of City's interest in his son.

He is under contract to the Italians until 2013 and is already earning a staggering £150,000 a week. His deal includes the use of two houses, four club cars for him and his family and £1m a season for first-class travel to and from Brazil.

But Milan stood firm in the face of City's interest and told Leita they would not offer his son a bigger deal to stay.

However, while Milan expect Kaka to turn down City they are not so sure what will happen if Real Madrid enter the bidding. Some AC officials admit the £100m valuation was a price they couldn't refuse.

If Real get near to matching it they will be given the chance to speak to Kaka, who has made it known in the past that if he did leave Milan he would prefer to join the Spanish giants.

City boss Mark Hughes last night urged Kaka to join his squad and be part of "something special" at Eastlands, insisting money would not be the key factor in luring the Brazilian.

He admitted that the world-record bid to sign Kaka was at a delicate stage, with the striker needing to be convinced of City's plans.

"I would love to have the opportunity to work with him," said Hughes. "He is an outstanding football player. It's a complex deal, it won't be concluded quickly. We'll give it the amount of time it deserves.

"The idea is to meet his father, his main adviser, this week.

"We will pitch to him and show him the plans we have for the future.

"The motivation isn't financial. It's about making a compelling argument for him to come here and be part of something special."

Edit: if this is the case i think we shouldnot feel sorry for him to leave. he is our star YES. He is one of our flags YES. He is our future leader YES. is he bigger than milan? HELL NO. i dont think milan will let him go because they got a good offer. its just his father is trying to force milan into contract talks and thats not the way it goes with milan.

i think the problem here is Kaka's father he is pushing us to give his son more and more, and this is why he is trying to push him to Man City for the fact of he would be earning mammoth amounts, but if i was kaka no amount of cash would make me leave my Milan, if Kaka loves us like he says he does im sure his heart will guide him.

Let's not jump to conclusions with these stories, because there's far too much confusion surrounding the deal. In fact, if rumours are to be believed, then yes his father is trying to get a bigger contract, but Kaka isn't interested in this. His supposed argument with his father is apparently because he doesn't want to leave Milan for a fat paycheck, yet others say the reason he wants to leave is he's angry that Milan accepted the offer, which Milan say they haven't and first intend to talk to the player and his father. At the same time, he's apparently crying in the arms of players and staff and yet the players are coming out saying he's calm and his normal self.

There is too much confusion surrounding the deal to say what will happen. Best is to just hope it's sorted soon so we can focus on the football.

If Kaka stays, Gabriell and Geotov should be suspected as smurf of Galliani

Smurf is ?

I'm not confident, I'm not positive, I'm not negative, like I said, my heart says he'll stay, but my reason says he'll go (this statement is only if all things are true), I just try to take in consideration every situation and to think about it ... with some fun or madness sometimes

There are actually 2 versions, maybe even 3, of that saga, so despite all we can read, the only thing I'm sure is that if Kaka' goes, it will be a choice made by Milan AND Kaka' (for any reasons) because for such a thing to happen, Milan has to accept the deal to allow Kaka' to sign, and Kaka' has to sign to go, so both would be responsible of such a situation !!
Appart from that, what can we say we didn't say yet ? lol

Well, I just believe in Kaka thats all. You know the last Batman movie, the one with the Joker, in there Gotham is looking at someone other than the Batman to lead them, the WHITE KNIGHT....TO be Kaka is the White Knight of football at the moment, and I think every fan and player will agree to that. Actually I would say Gerrard was there but b/c of the fight he no longer is there. Messi could be the another one. Anyone, like I said before, if Kaka is gone, it will be a very dark day in Football and a brand new age where no players is safe anymore nomatter how loyal they are and want to be.
