If I recall correctly, a decision has to be made b4 July 20something...which is the deadline for UEFA to receive the list of clubs that will be participating in both UCL and UEFA Cup competitions...

The Italian FA will not allow this scandal to prevent them from having Italian representation in these signature tournaments, so I do expect a decision to be made by the end of June...early July the latest...though the Latin tendancy to procrastinate may see them barely meeting the deadline...no aspersions being cast on Latins...in Jamaica, we have refined procrastination into a fine art form...

For example, in Jamaica, when we say: Soon come...this could take anywhere from half an hour (no less) to a couple of weeks.

Oh, and KUI...please stop being so paranoid...since this started, you have been a constant worry wart... , relax bro..Milan have nothing to worry about..and if we did, whats the use of loosing sleep over it? A want away Sheva is enough worry for me for several lifetimes...and is more serious than what, if anything will impact Milan in all this...chances are, we will be the winners in this...at least thats what I hope.

And yes, stain defending pants are available in Italy, Moggi, Moratti and Inter fans all own several pairs.

Oh, so you suppose in the god ol' USSR there was no match fixing?

My dad tells me this: close to the end of the season, the best position for a team to be is the middle of the table. That way teams that are at the top and want to win or get a European place will grant you a favorthrow the match, and teams that are near the bottom and are close to being relegated will also grant you a favor.
For example, Dynamo Kyiv need 3 points to clinch the title. They contact another team, say Lvivski Karpati, who throw the game. Suppose the next season Lvivski Karpati need points to avoid relegation, and they are playng Dynamo Kiev. Because they are owed a favor, Dynamo Kyiv throws the match and Karpati stay up.
That's how it works, mate! So the 'filthy capitalists' are not the only ones into match-fixing.

No, he did what Moggi said, just like Moggi was his boss.
Plus there is another problem, it seems Moggi forced to Lippi to select for national team some Gea players, such as Blasi (what a shame that player).
We'll see...

CORRECTION!!!: I have made refrence to the UEFA deadline re club list submission for their tournaments...I stand corrected

For the entire article at soccernet.com, click here

Quote:
European soccer's governing body UEFA needs to know by June 5 the list of clubs who will play in next season's two European competitions. There are concerns a federation investigation into the telephone taps will not be completed by then.
Now this raises more questions than answers, but at least I got the deadline date correct!

I can't see this happening at all. I mean look at all the 'evidence' they have to go through, it would surely take them months to come to some sort of decision. It doesn't look like something that will be decided over night, so i'm sure they'll be in Serie A next season. True, they maybe relegated in following seasons, but like i said i can't see a decision being made in such a short space of time.

I'll eat my hat if it did

The Italian Referees' Association (AIA) has suspended nine of its members.

Scandal has rocked Italian football in recent weeks, with revelations over tapped telephone conversations casting doubt over the integrity of several leading figures.

Accusations have been levelled at Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi, suggesting that he influenced refereeing appointments for crucial games.

The AIA are determined to act over the match fixing allegations, and have suspended nine referees until the matter is resolved.

Massimo De Santis, who had been put forward to officiate at the World Cup, is one of those to stand down while an enquiry is carried out.

The other eight are Pasquale Rodomonti, Paolo Bertini, Paolo Dondarini, Marco Gabriele, Domenico Messina, Gianluca Rocchi, Salvatore Racalbuto and Paolo Tagliavento.

No, I do not agree, sport law is very quick, there's need of less evidence than in a criminal or civil trial
