so was every other defender we had at that time, even maldini was having one of his worst seasons... plus he matured alot at valencia, i dont think u need to be anything special to see how good that guy is

Ayala is old now, past his prime and he has lost his pace, he is almost done with top class football.

thats because he was out through injury throughout the past season except for the last couple of games

we must have many changes in our team.why must we have heart attack in milan matches(remember juve match and liv match).some players have end all football they have from time ago and we all know.first before telling players we should get we must say players must go.

1-simic
2-costa corta
3-rui costa
unless tommason in benfica so he will be no 4
now we have maldini,nesta,stam as stopers
we must get two (bonera and a young talent)
for simic one of (oddo or ciccino)
we must have one mid field player in right that can make crosses
and i think one of (joaquin,van der med,mancini)fiego if we became poor.
for rui costa and in helping for kaka(not good this season)
one of (juninio of lion,d`alessandro)
forza milan we must be over all others.

we were lucky this season in injures may be luck will not be next season.
imagine what can happen if for example we have nesta for two cards and stam for injury and we have an important match with jeventus or inter may be barca or real ,chelsea,.......
can maldini and costacorta safe the team?

what i am saying is not hard to happen also there r another positions in team with the same critical case.
who can be in fight for place with kaka?
