Some people included Onyewu in the contenders list for MVP of the confed cup. I am sure he will become very tactically aware at Milan. Hope he does well. Silva and Onyewu could become a good CB partnership considering the fact that one is very strong in the air and the other is fairly quick.

I would not give praise to Berlu and Galli for this signing as he is really not the top calibre defender. And on top of that he was free. Lastly, there was really only a handful of clubs being link with him. Yes, Real is one of them, but I think thats had more to do with newspaper columnist wishful thinking instead of REAL really after him.

And pls, don't over the moon and stuff as this type of signings should be happening every year on a normal basis instead of being happy about.

I see that we finally got a new #22. We must rule the market.

I have some serious doubts over Onyewu, he was good here in Belgium but I'm afraid he's not good enough for a team like Milan. But it's up to him to prove me wrong, and I hope he does.
I do doubt we bought him because of his "qualities", he just came for free and that was the best argument I suppose. Our good relationship with Standard must have been an important argument as well.

He has lots of power and a good header but he makes a lot of fouls as well. He is a bit like Senderos but only a little less clumsy.
For now, I definately wouldn't rate him higher than Kala or Bonera.
Although he does have the right qualities to play aside Silva or Nesta.

I think he will do fine in Series A as there are less small and mobile strikers, well there is Pato but he plays for Milan.

BUt I will reserve my judgement on him in CL.

Anyway, he will be an upgrade from Senderous, Kaladze and Bonera(injured too much).
TBH, I am not sure about that either. but I hope that you are right.

And Leo will turn him into a CF. That way MIlan will not need to spend money on Dzeko and others, Berlu will be happy. Fans will be thrill as Milan finally have a BIG TARGET MAN IN THE MIDDLE. Watch out Inter, MIlan and their new 22 are coming.

Onyewu is the physical monster we lack in our team ... alongside Nesta or Thiago Silva who are excellent defenders but not that physical, we could see a good association, but he will need to improve a little bit in some parts of his game.

So, our defence nowadays is: Nesta, Thiago Silva, Onyewu, Bonera, Favalli, Kaladze, Zambrotta, Oddo*, Antonini*, Jankulovski* + Darmian + Albertazzi (it looks like these two young players won't get a lot of time again this season )

* = players with some doubts if they will stay or not (Galliani said that if an offer was to arrive on his desk for Oddo, they would valuate it, Antonini didn't get his renewal so maybe ... and there have been plenty rumours about Jankulovski being sold or traded, especially in Roma).

I don't really understand what said Galliani about Huntelaar and Luis Fabiano ... he said we are interested by both ?! But, does that mean that we will try to get one or the other depending on their availability, or does that mean that we will try to buy both ?

he was amazing during the confederation cup, but thats about it. i think this is a right singing, definitely an upgrade on senderos and kaladze and great backup for silva and nesta. (i`d feel much better if Leo comes out and says that he chose the American)

Now if only we could capture once and for all Cissokho, we`d be covered in defense, and we still have a lot of money to cover the Attack and Midfield.

Onyewu-Cisokho-Hrnanes-Huntelar/Luis Fabiano

this is solid trnasfer market, with not to much spending...we should go for it, and use Pato`s wedding(Leo and Braida are there for sure) to try and lure hernanes

I think a creative midfilder is needed more than a striker

Well, to be fair, I don't think any professional football CB can play worse than Kala, Senderous and Bonera last season.

I mean, if Favalli is the second most reliable CB you have on your team, thats a troubling sign.

IMO lets not get to exited,he floped at Newcastle in EPL and like Gabriel said he cant handle fast small quality strikers, but he is just perfect for Serie A against Inter(VS Zlatan) or Juve(VS Amauri) or the smaller teams,in CL he wont make it only in group stage im sure of that but in Serie A he will succeed.

Still he is free so its not like Milan did any good, like mrki said: dont get too happy because they still have alot of work to do,so lets wait and see if they will do their job.(LB AND CF)

Also i think they did this because of the fact that Milan Ultras protested im sure, thats why they got the man so fast.

One of the two,not both are you crazy.

There are reports however saying that we want Huntelaar on loan and buy Fabiano so we would have both of them, then Borriello will be sold to Napoli. But this is not going to happen because Real refuses a loan deal for the dutchman,we will get one of them.

Also,we are being linked with Nilmar from Internacional because Braida is in Brazil and also with Neymar, that little guy who is thin as hell but is the new big thing according to many people.

Bonera wasn't bad, only on the RB, but that's logical.

Don't get too excited over Onyewu, I think Kala and Bonera are still ahead of him, and I guess that also says alot about Onyewu.

If this is the answer to the Ultra protest, then man the ULTRA MUST DO MORE. Just kidding.

The thing is, even I are quite excited about the signing but after calming down abit-10mins or so- I realise that the comments I made about him is the same I made about Senderous and from the comments I see here, they are mostly the same as when Senderous arrived. Man, we been fool by Berlu and Galli AGAIN......

For real, we really should not get excited about his signing as it is REALLY a VERY normal signing. Thats also show what type of state Milan is in, as a normal signing can lift its fans up to cloud nine. Wonder what will happen if Ribery comes!!!!-Season tickets here I come despite living thousand of miles away from Milan.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is preparing to make a £20m raid for Real Madrid's Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar. So Milan have to be quick if they really want Hunterlaar

Nobody is excited Gabriel,we did not sign Terry. we are just glad that we at least got someone, and that someone was the best defender of the confederation cup last month, and we got him for free.

It was obvious we would not sing a defender, and now we got this guy who is not that bad actually, with chances to become great.... not a reason to go and celebrate, but I`m definitly glad.
