i wonder if they would still keep Diarra if they have signed Gago..

Reports in Italy say that if Borriello is positive for doping, it would make a Iaquinta deal alot harder.. If that is the case then i think we should try and get Cassano, or Di Natale instead..

You all need to bring down all this expectations by a lot. LOL! Sorry to say, but if we do get anyone, count it as being lucky.
I have a suspicion that we may pick up a few scrubbs from none other than Juve.
Just a hunch I have.

It appears they just lost their tamoil deal what is a huge financial blow so perhaps they will have to sell some players
just hope Inter doesn't beat us AGAIN for their signature

Milan’s Iaquinta move in doubt Friday 22 December, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan’s proposed January bid for Vincenzo Iaquinta has hit the rocks after Marco Borriello tested positive for a banned substance.

The Rossoneri were hoping to tempt Udinese into selling their star striker by offering cash and Borriello in exchange.

However, the former Under-21 international has been suspended as a precautionary measure and could face a lengthy ban if his B test also comes back as positive.

The San Siro giants are desperately looking for a new striker seeing the performances of their misfiring attackers so far this term

Although Alberto Gilardino seems to have finally awoken, Pippo Inzaghi and summer signing Ricardo Oliveira continue to struggle in front of goal.

As a result, Milan may now look elsewhere and they are being strongly linked with Fabio Quagliarella.

The Sampdoria ace has been hot so far this term and he’s netted some real gems amongst his nine Serie A strikes in 2006-07.

The 23-year-old is co-owned by Udinese and may find it tough for a regular shirt at Doria given the competition posed by Francesco Flachi, Emiliano Bonazzoli and Fabio Bazzani.

Quagliarella, formerly of Ascoli and Torino, would also come with the added bonus of being available to play in the Champions League.

Milan are through to the last 16 of the competition and will face Scottish giants Celtic when the tournament resumes in the New Year.
Oh, boy, we are THAT desperate? We are "strongly" linked with a guy who "may find it tough for a regular shirt at Doria"

the guys is good, very good and is still young. granted, he's not an established player yet but at least he's young and has the potential to make it big ... and he won't break the bank either.
That article makes it sound as if he's on Samp's bench but given his perfomances so far, if there is one sure name in Samp's attack, that him ... it's the other 3 - Flachi, Bonazolli, and Bazzani - who would be fighting for a starting place, not him.

if he keeps up his performance i think he will be established this season.. if he keeps on scoring he could be considered for the national side, well considering Donadoni is trying different options..

I don't really know what he is but he his style is called to be similar to Redondo. We all know what this means I guess, a creative defensive midfielder that is thef first pawn in an attack, who wins balls and gives great passes with a flair of a soccergenius etc
a bit like pirlo

anyway I think Real will have to build a new stadium pretty soon, coz they have put those players somewhere. Another option is that they might ask FIFA together with chelsea that they can field 16 playersinstead of 11
