A few rumours I've read today. The biggest (I believe the source is La Republica) story is that apparently the main transfer target of the summer for the forward position is Toni, who would come a lot cheaper than Amauri.

Another big story (this time I think the source is Daily Mail, a less than reliable source) is Milan are apparently after Drogba and Gerrard, after Berlu said to scouts to find 6 of the best players in the world.

if his scout is Galliani then he would say: Platini, Kahn, Sammer, Mattheus, Cruyff and Muller!

I also think our forward will be Toni, and our fullback Zambrotta. Which again leads me to Marcello Lippi.

I have to say it again: If Milan wants some freshness in the team we need to change a coach as Crlo has been here just a very long time. Its normal that teams get "fed up" by a certain coach.

Also, according to italian press, Diego is now a Real MAdrid player for 30 mln euro. he is worth that money and you will see just how good he is next year in a real team. diego is a true fantasista, a great and young player who would replace Seedorf permanently and for next 8 years. But hey...who needs him

Diego would be great, but to really replace Seedorf we need a box to box player wth great technique. Few and far are these players if available. Maybe Essien, but we should got PSV's Afellay. Looks a world beater to be.

If you want a replacement for Seedorf, look no further than Pienaar.

Well, with Cafu, Serginho, and even Dida on their way out, we shouldn't worry about becoming like Merda. I never saw Jo before, but I saw Love a couple times in Brasil NT, and wasn't impressed at all.

Btw, Villa recently said he's open for offers. I think he can be a good signing

We need a team with Italian and Brazilian players: Italian for their tactical skills and Brazilian for their way to play.

No other nationality allowed !! lol

haha mrki ur funny about Galliani and scouting. I have to say that by buying Toni and Zambrotta that is not rejuvenating the team. There are very usefull players but we could go we some younger guys. In attack Adebayor, Jo..some good option.
If we want to replace Seedorf, we need Samir Nasri.

Then I guess Santacroce of Napoli is perfect, being half Brazilian and half Italian.

Actually, in all seriousness this guy probably should be looked at as a potential long term investment (like how many want Zapata). He's done really well for Napoli and was immense against Juve, simply incredible.

highlights of him against Juve

However, I would only look at one of Zapata and Santacroce, because we still need room for Darmian, who I still have massive hopes for, to come in.

I need some clarification about the italian rule for signing non-EU players.

Is it one non-EU player per year or per season?

Thanks.

What is his position? DC or fullback? Or both?

By seeing that video, I think his position is right fullback in back-4 scheme

Corriere Dello Sport says our target is now Berbatov.

Strategie Milan: Assalto a Berbatov

(Corriere dello Sport)

Could we afford Berbatov, Aguero & Shevchenko? Possibly if the Ukranian is dirt cheap and Atletico accept money + Olive for the Argentine.

Kaka behind Berbatov & Aguero with Pato & a fit Shevchenko on the bench. It's an intriguing scenario.

It seems like everyday, we have a new target ... so we will not be able to know who will be our recruies before they signed because of that (when there is only one rumour for example, it is easy to know if it is true or not, but now, with all these rumours ...).

Jim, recruiting Berbatov, Aguero and Sheva is too much I think ...
- Aguero is more linked to Inter than to Milan, but he would probably be the best recruie we can have (potentially incredible and already amazing !!).
- Berbatov can be good in Milan, but only if Gila goes in another club. I'd like him to come too.
- Sheva will come back, even if I read an article with Carlito saying that they will have to study our needs and then compare that to what Sheva can give us ... if we buy Aguero, no need of Sheva, we will still have Pato !!

So the best targets for me would be Berbatov and Aguero, with Pato and Paloschi (+ Inzaghi). It would be really enough I think. On the pitch, we could put Berbatov-Aguero/Pato, Aguero being able to take place in offensive midfield (instead of Kaka' when he is tired). Paloschi would be there to learn next year and grow slowly. Inzaghi would be a joker. Intriguing scenario and very interesting !! Too good to be real lol ...

Italian expoerts, according to a commentator who was brocasting Juve-Naoli game, are saying Santacroce will replace Cannavaro in the future as Itali's best CB.

He is young and plays great as a CB!

But I have no hope for him, as usual. He will end up in Juve...

But about forwards one thing needs to be clear - Benzema is the best solution for us, he is the best young forward in the world and will be no.1 forward overall. Everything else is just being cheep: Toni, Drogba , Sheva... and so on,..

He's a CB and has been compared to both Nesta and Cannavaro by pundits (probably because neither is particularly tall ). Technically he's very good, but his tactical defensive abilities are also impressing, with an aggressive approach and very well timed tackles as well as pace to keep up with attackers.

He's not got a lot of experience and I haven't seen him too regularly, so I can't say for sure he'll be a great buy. However, his potential and ability is huge.
