The Kaka/Torres cases are not the same.

When a club wants to buy a player they have to contact the club first, then if they are allowed to speak to a player they can.

In Kaka's case Real Madrid says they have made a deal with Kaka that he will come to them, have negotiated personal terms, and that he has already picked out shirt #17. If that was true and Milan haven't heard anything, then Real Madrid have done something wrong. They should talk to Milan first!

In Torres' case, Milan have only stated their interest in the player. If they want to pursue this interest then they must contact Atletico Madrid to name their price before they eventually can talk to the player if allowed to. Even though Torres have stated that he wants to stay, the club may want to sell him if the right offer comes in.

The important thing here is to do it the right way. First club, then player...

Torres didn't score many goals last season (13 i think) but his record is something like 70 goals in 140 games ... or something that equates to a goal every 2nd game in his Atletico career.

I would still prefer Tevez though, his dribbling skills from deep, his strength and his goal scoring are what's needed. This is not to say i'd be disappointed with Torres, i would just prefer the bandit

Bring us back our Shevchenko!!!!!

He was the only one! He was The One.......why is he gone?? He's polite to Milan in the media...he says the primary reason for him leaving was "family reasons" and thanks Galliani for letting him go.......he left a huge void in Milan(ello). A void, by definition.

I'd like Milan to pursue/hire a keeper (Buffon), a RB (Oddo/Perea), a DM (Diarra) and a forward (Ibrahimovic).

Well Torres plays in Atletico who has not much star players in the team.Torres also assist and he can score headers.I cant see Tevez scoring from a set piece that easy.
C.Ronaldo is too selfish to play in Milan.He wastes considerable amount of opportunities.

I forgot to add a rB, you are right!

King Tiger, Zlat can score from a set piece too, albeit not so easy as Torres maybe but still can, thus the Zlat + Tevez combo is better as Tevez is a better player than Torres when we have to break tough defences.

Still, as Zlatan isn't comming, probably, possibly...........because Juve is what it is I wouldn't mind a TORRES + TEVEZ combo. Ehm, something people were saying in here since page one of 48

I'mean not just because Zlat isn't avaliable, cuz Torres is better than him in that respect. Hehe. OK, OK, we don't have the moneyz for both of them.

I kinda think that we dont have enough money to buy Buffon,Diarra,Zambrotta,Zlatan,Tevez/Torres. and i dont think that our management would buy 2 expensive strikers.Coz of that im limited to one option.
IMO zlatan or Torres would be good altough Juve has a silly idea to price Zlatan 40 milion.

Why would we need 2 more strikers? If we could have Torres, Gilardino, Inzaghi and Amoroso then I think we would have been OK. Last season we literally had only 3 strikers in the squad because of injuries and we didn't do too bad.

This isn't Football Manager, this is reality.

It's up to our players and our executives to make this void go away. He can be as polite towards Milan as he wants to, but the fact is that he still left us. I'm not thinking about this, so I don't miss him yet... And hopefully I never will.

This isn't Football Manager, this is reality.

There are grumblings out there about Atalanta wanting to bring back Inzaghi, so if that happens then we would need two strikers. Maybe Crespo and either Tevez (who wants to leave Corinthians), Torres or Suazo. That would suit me. But there may be someone we haven't even heard linked to Milan yet. We'll just have to wait and see.

You got my point right.

And while Amoroso only got very few games, Inzaghi was injured for large parts of the season.
