So Barca want to use US for their rejuvenation while we get a player who skips training and is all about show-boating ? I'd rather not.

Its a bit dangerous hawing too many Brazilians at the club as we need to keep our Italian mentality... Im still up fpr Eto'o choice but if we can get Ronaldinho to train as hard as in the past, we did a great shopping.
About the skipped training sessions - noone skips training in Milanello, Im sure those things nevver happen in there.

Milancelotti, Welcome to the "Silly Season"....a season where nothing is as it seems, sure things become impossible, and the impossible becomes possible.
![]() I see right through Ronnie´s declaration. Barca are at a crucial point of their season, where they are no longer leading the La Liga table, and have just been knocked out of the Kings Cup by a team (Getafe) who they face in the few remaining fixtures....he couldnt possibly say that: "yes, at the end of the season, I am going to Milan"...? Or Madrid or Chelski for that matter. He is being politically correct, and trying to get back into the fans "good books"......while secretly house-hunting in Milan (well thats what I like to think anyway). The point is, $heva made similar protestations of loyalty just prior to his departure...and Ronnie to me, is doing the same.

I think that the 47 mil was in BPounds and not in euros ... although, if you ask me, 47 mil euros is way more realistic a price for Dinho after this season's performances.
As for Sheva, my take on this is - thanks for the memories but with Ronie already here, and appreciating it, Milan would be better off thinking of the future and going for long-term investments.

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...a/may17k.html:
Ronaldinho has announced that he will not leave Barcelona in the summer, dismissing the rumours linking him with a move to Milan. The Brazilian is contracted to the Blaugrana until 2010, but the last few months have seen the Rossoneri repeatedly state that they were “in pole position should he leave.” Furthermore, all negotiations to extend his deal with the Nou Camp outfit have so far failed, fuelling speculation that the player might be set for Serie A. “There is no chance that I will leave Barcelona,” Ronaldinho told the Press on Thursday. “I have a contract here and I am only focused on my club,” added the former Golden Ball winner, whose side leads La Liga alongside Real Madrid with four matches to go. “I want to do my best here next year and am trying to prepare for next season as well as I can,” explained ‘Dinho, who has withdrawn from Brazil’s Copa America squad. The Brazilian international was recently booed by part of the Barca supporters, who do not appreciate the constant transfer rumours, blaming his brother and agent Roberto Assis’ frequent trips to Milan. “My brother is in Italy often because he represents many other players apart from me. He doesn’t go to Milan to speak about my position,” concluded Ronaldinho. The player’s statement could open the door for Andriy Shevchenko’s return to the San Siro, after Adriano Galliani declared last week that the Rossoneri were willing to hold a non-EU spot for the Ukrainian.

I think in the end Barca will cash in on him and he will arrive at Milan - not necessarily my dream scenario ... this is going against all the latest announcements he's made but still ...
All this commitment BS is typical considering the situation Barca is in competing for the La Liga in a close race with 2 other teams ... I think Dinho simply doesn't want to be seen as the reason for Barca losing the league as this saga could well be a distraction to his teammates.
