isnt there a clause that comes into play if they already play in Italy? and it doesnt matter if they are already playing in Europe, we wont even qualify for Europe without better players. that alone should be reason to buy them.

Even if Mariga is a Non EU player, he will not take the Non EU spot in Milan as he is already playing in Italy.
Hernanes will though.
If Criscito and Motta are to come to Milan, only one of them is allow to play in Europe for Milan after Jan according to UEFA rules

As Gabriel stated, any player from Serie A is a "EU-player". Inter did it with Julio Cesar and Maxwell as an example.

Thats a point that in my opinion Milan need to explore better(thats and youth academy). There are some players(not only in Brazil) worth this type of aproach, even more now, with our little budget.

At least one for year(or two), it´s possible to buy a 5 million euro prospect and let the boy develope in a Italian club. They get used to Serie A, and become a Eu- Player...

I think one of the only positives this season is that we seem to be doing alot better with our Primavera. The team seems to be doing quite well, and there's alot of interesting players in the team now. You can see the highlights from some games here: milantime.acmilan.com, some interesting players are Verdi who plays with number 7 and Zigoni number 9.

Also, it's starting to seem pretty likely that we could end up with Puyol next summer. Barcelona has apparently given him an ultimatum so it'll be interesting to see what happens in the next month or so. Alot of clubs wants him obviously, but he has stated MANY times that he likes Milan, so I don't think it would be to unlikely, at least if he doesn't renew.

I read alot of people didn't like him much, and doesn't want him in Milan, at least on other forums. I honostly don't understand that, he's 31 so yes, he's a bit old, but he'll be free, and he's still a quality defender, and more importantly versatile. A quality replacement for Nesta when he needs a rest in the central defense, and a quality upgrade from Zambrotta/Jankulovski/Abate. Perhaps people don't like him cause of the Sheva goal he got annuled in 2006? I find it strange, he's always seemed like a proffesional player to me.

Also, Cannavaro failed a doping test...

Brasiliero, I dont think that Neymar will fit in our formation even if he is ready! He is calssical second striker - not a winger, not a CF. That is how I see him.

But I dont believe anything that media says anymore coz we already "signed" half of the Europe.

More, Dinho was partying in PAris where he goes oftenly so that people in Milano dont see him. There is even a youtube video of it. It was day or two after the Atalanta game. As far as Im concerned we can sell him/ship him/giv him away in winter. Pathetic behaviour by Dinho in last year or so.

Puyol would be good for the right price. we also have some of our young guys coming back next year such as Astori, Dariman, and Paloschi. they should all help.

Puyol is a class palyer who would probably play RB for us IF he arrives ( which will not happen ). Few months agfo he made fun with C.Ronaldo in CL final as a RB and now people in here say he is not good enough? Puyol is class and is phisically extremly storng player that has 2 top years in him for sure.

Thanks for the video, Christian... I hope we can at least promote a primavera player of 2 in 2 years. But the last ones(besides Paloschi) were so scared to play, that lost my hope.

Regarding Puyol, I have nothing but respect for the guy. I still don´t believe he will leave Barça. But if so, I welcome him in Milan. Said that, as a squad player... I don´t want him as a solution, as I complained when we get Zambro as a solution. At his age(if he come, one year more old), we can´t expect him to be a fully starter...

@ mrki: thank God Neymar appears to be a good boy, because the hype arround him is crazy. People need to let the kid develope... As you said, he´s a second forward, and no near ready for the jump(to Europe). I´m thinking right now when the turn of Jean Carlos Chera to arrive in Santos... He was that Brazilian kid that became famous in Youtube with his hightlights(at 6 yo):

Regarding Giuliano, imo he was great against Uruguai. The best was Alex Teixeira, no doubt, but he clearly bounce back from a so-so display against the Chezh. Dictated the tempo of the game, control the mid, and gave some amazing pass for the forwards. It´s a shame the ref annulled his amazing goal, in another amazing Alex Teixeira´s play...

If you have a chance, try the torrents of the game. The best game that I saw in the tournament.

Btw, Juve is starting the aproach that gave us several fruits in the near past. Italy/Brazil connection(in Italian)...

I agree 1,000%!!!

This for me was one of our biggest mistakes in the mercato.

I think the reason we didn't get him was simple: it would have rendered our highest paid player an after-thought...something Berlu's ego woulnt tolerate...yet we certainly wouldn't be in the bottom half of the table either.

As I said before, it think Marquinhos would be a good acquisition for Milan. Stars don't just need to be bought in mega-million dollar deals, they can be forged into champions. All it needs is the raw talent....

And as one of the posters said b4, we are only two or three players away from glory..... That is, one young playmaker (Marquinhos etc.), a dominating LB (Rafihna) and an injection of speed inot the midfield. I think, considering the current situation, the LB is a must.... But the others, only if Berlu is serious about taking this club back up again. Just as well, bcs he said this club already has the "right foundations."
