Of course not These forums are for the most part pretty well controlled. Just hope that people don't label all Milan fans as 'whiners'. Criticism is fine...but whatever one calls this, isn't.

There's a difference between defending someone and pointing out valid reasons why some things have not happened the way they should. There's excuses and there's facts. I'll be the first one to join you in having a go at someone who defends the indefendible, however a certain amount of reasoning is needed. Not everything is player 'X's' fault, which seems to be what Gilardino gets criticised for. You never hear that it was someone's poor pass that was to blame but it was his poor control that was at fault. Criticise someone, but be fair about it, that's all i would hope for from you or anyone.

We DID play to his strengths.... alot of the passes sent to him were in the air..... of course nobody would notice that when shorter players like Heinze and Co. were winning those 50-50 balls Actually I would say that he was rubbish/ worthless in that game. I remember Brazil got beat 3-0 by argentina, and the only chances Ronaldo had were crosses in the air. He wasn't great but he didn't totally suck monkey balls either. Anyway I wasn't pleased with him because he usually adapts to the game.... this is what I expect from my beloved team to adapt or die trying.... Pippo is no ronaldinho...can't dribble....can't shoot that well but he scores in ALL types of matches no matter the type of defense.

There are games when Gila didn't score and I left him alone. I'm not out to criticise him. But when he does stuff like what he did tonight.....hearing points in his defence just gets me more mad......Its like someone raping your sister.....do you care what psychological problems or other mitigating or extenuating circumstances the rapist faced??? I don't think Gila hurt Milan as much as Dida. He was simply atrocious.

Gila didn't do too well, but Dida's performance was embarrassing at times. Did you see this paragon's stop from that one shot in the first half--it looked as if Dida was actually the least graceful keeper in the business. Given the plethora of clowns out there, that takes some doing.

Utterly hopeless. The two saves he did make were a minimum requirement after he showed the positioning sense of an amateur.

You know, i remember at least 10 matches when Trezeguet was just as invisible as Gila was tonight.
I was swearing at Nedved, Zidane, Camoranesi, Conte or Emerson not at Trez, because Trez depends on these guys and when they don't give 1 ( one) single ball to him in the box then i will blame them only.

Milan scored 2 goals tonight. Gila didn't miss a single chance tonight. Don't you think it's stupid to say Gila hurt you and don't you think you're blaming him only because you dislike him ?

This is not " Is Gila a good player" discussion. This is only about tonight. And about tonight's match, i'm sure every single Gila type player ( Van Basten, Trezeguet, Shearer, Lineker, Toni, Van Nistelrooy etc) wouldn't have touched the ball if he was a Milan player, just like Gilardino didn't do anything.

looks like gilardino is our whipping boy. To be honest, he hasn't had much CL experience from his previous club and some day he will be an experienced campaigner. However, for now he is our least likely saviour. However, Milan have no choice but to play him for now. The mistake here was not that we played Gila. Our mistake was acquiring someone as green as Oliveira as our replacement for Shevchenko in the summer. I mean - honestly. Was Galliani high when he made that deal? If we had purchased a decent striker at that stage, we would have some teeth up front this year.

See this is what i don't get. I criticize gila, i'm unbalanced. Others can wash their tongues on dida and not a sound! So we rather blame kaka and co than a guy who didn't touch the ball. Smooth what can i say? To each his own. Tony your true colours as an evil juve fan are exposed why didn't you include inzaghi on your list? Could it be that maybe just maybe we would have seen a bit more from him?

What amazes me most,- Milan is not performing best comparing to previous years, but we still have good chances against the strongest teams in Europe...

Inzaghi is uncomparable to anyone else.
I'm convinced we would have seen even less of Pippo but i can't say he wouldn't have scored.

If Pippo was playing Kaka wouldn't have missed his chance shooting over the bar. No, Kaka would have kicked the bar, the ball would have bounced to O'shea's back, then it would have bounced to Brown who would have tried to clear it but he would have missed it, then Heinze would have tried to shoot the ball out of the box but he would have shot it directly to Pippo's ass and watch how the ball goes into the net !

That's why Pippo's unique and i deliberately kept him out of the list

I watched the game and I honestly thought we played well with what we have.. But we lost steam 10 min. into the second half.. I hope we play hard @ the San Siro and pull off a win and proceed to Athens. Can someone just tell me the scorelines that will get us through please...
