That means we will probably have to look for a CD in other championships: I don't see us getting any CD coming from the French Ligue 1 (except Adil Rami from Lille ?) or Premiership right now, and I don't think we'll go for a Spanish one. That lets us with the Brazilian links like David Luiz (I saw him in the Benfica-Lyon game, I have to admit he was awful, but people tend to say he's very good, so it was probably just one bad game), Miranda, and other players playing in Brazil.

Ronaldinho reminds me A LOT of TOTTI... doesn't run a lot.. he's actually playing in the middle.. neat flicks, and passes, but not defending at ALL, not moving much... Almost had a back flick for a goal...

For defense let's revive the German rumours Aogo, Mertesacker? unlikely but who knows

To those of you saying that Pastore would do better at Milan than Pato -
Pastore did absolutely nothing today (playing against a world class team), even Ronni looked more dangerous than him.

And we all know how Pato plays for Brazil.

Edin Dzeko scored for Bosnia, other Bosnian linked with Chelsea with Pjanic great young player, I think Carlo wanted him even when he was at Milan.

We got Ibra so there's no way we will get Dzeko.

We are set if we sign Rami, Coentraro, Jucilei, Honda, Matri.

Rami---Silva---Nesta---Coentraro

Abate/Antonini---Silva-----Rami----Coentraro.

Both Bonera and Papa will be sold to make way and money for Rami and Coentraro.

Oddo and Janku will leave...

with potential departure of Onyewu, we will lose 5 players and get 2 new ones. 2 quality players...

Then Jucieli and Honda for midfield, Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso, Ambros might leave. Flamini and Boateng will stay in my opinion.

in attack, we are already set with Robinho, Pato and ibra. if Ronaldinho leaves we might sign a wide forward. Matri is a player i like, he is very strong and fast.

if Pato can stay inform and stay healthy, he can make a contribution that noone can do. He can score more than 25 goals a season in Serie A for instance...Pato is great player yet he became too injury prone in the last seasons.

Jucilei and Honda are two non-EU players, so they can't arrive during the same season ...
We don't own Sokratis, so we have three solutions: letting him go back to Genoa, buying him or trying to get him again for one year on loan (unlikely to happen).

I don't know if you already have given your opinion about about young CB from Ligue 1 we linked with, Mamadou Sakho. Can you tell something about this player?

I'm not a fan of this player ... All players from Paris are overrated now that Paris starts to play more or less well !!

He was the youngest captain of this club (but he isn't their captain anymore if I'm not wrong), he had an excellent first season in Ligue 1 but failed to play at the same level since. Nowadays, he's a good/decent young CD. He was called in the French team I think for the friendly game of tonight in England.

He's quite physical, he is good regarding headers, left-footed if I'm not wrong, but not very technical.

IMO, he's not the kind of CD we should look for in Milan ... but he's still better than a Bonera for example !!

The way you described him I am content with Yepes and Sokratis.

Btw rumour of day for Milan today is Matri to Milan in January (giving them Onewu, sorry for misspell and Odumadi). Not bad idea IMO since we need him as 4th striker and 3rd central forward (2nd if we count Ibra as second striker) and we don't need those AC Milan players since we still have better options for their positions right now.

Balotelli slams racists, then calls Milan

Mario Balotelli was upset at the racist jeers from the crowd in Austria, but also hinted at a move to Milan. “I’m at Manchester City until June.”
The Italy striker was subjected to racist boos during tonight’s 1-1 draw with Romania, but not all of them came from the opposition fans.

A small group of supporters unfurled banners that targeted both Balotelli and Argentine-born debutant Cristian Ledesma. They read ‘Italy for Italians’ and ‘No to a multi-ethnic Italy.’

“In all honesty, I don’t know what to say,” commented Balotelli. “If I have to stand there every time and listen to these chants, we’re going nowhere.

“Cesare Prandelli says everyone should hug me and it would be nice if that happened, but it also wouldn’t be right to stop the game just for those few people who go to the stadium to behave like that.

“We’d need to change these people, but I am not the one to do it. I am happy to play for the Nazionale. I will just say that where I live, in Brescia, there is already a multi-ethnic Italy. And we can do a lot better.

“I would like to hear more talk about these problems rather than my alleged girlfriends.”

Balotelli also made comments that will fuel reports of a move to Milan, the club he admits to supporting.

“Until June I am certainly at Manchester City. I have a five-year contract and can’t say anything.

“It’s true that I had dinner with Adriano Galliani after the derby, but what does that mean? If I had dinner with Massimo Moratti would you say I was returning to Inter?

“What do I think of Zlatan Ibrahimovic? Ah, Ibra and I would make a very strong pairing.”

When asked which of the players in the current Italy side he liked the most, SuperMario mentioned Pirlo.

“He’s another Milanista, but it’s not my fault if they have so many great players.”

Ok, who's Rami and Contraro???

its Coentrao, and I have no idea who Rami is supposed to be. As for Ronaldinho, if he's sold, we'll need an ACM, not MATRI.... I don't understand how you could say we'd sell R80 and buy Matri. If we were to buy Matri, it would be to replace Inzaghi, not Ronaldinho. And most likely this won't happen.

We need an ACM, and a Fullback. Then next priority is a CB, a CM (to replace Pirlo), and then a Forward (to replace Inzaghi).

4-5 positions need to be filled within next 18 months. (2-3 mercato's)

In that time, we should think about saying Arrivederci to Ronaldinho, Seedorf, (Yepes OR Sokratis), Onyewu, Oddo, Jankulovski.

Lastly, I like Robinho, and the way he's progressing. I know it takes time and he's had a rough couple of years between Real Madrid and Manchester City, and I hope he can stay and succeed. However, I have to admit this is my preferred lineup:

Jucilei to be Pirlo replacement...Ganso OR Honda, then

Rotate Dzeko, Pato, and Ibrahimovic. That would be a sick attack, mostly because it free's up Ibra to do whatever he wants...you still have a trequartista, and then you have a natural penalty box striker in Pato OR Dzeko (depending if you want speed or power).....

A guy like Matri is not bad for a 4th striker (injuries, Coppa Italia)
