I agree with sehnsucht79... Unless, the lad changes attitude I would not like to see him here.
He is a great player, however I still think he is a bit overrated...

well i don't think he is overrated. he is a woldclass talent.

(he together with chivu, totti and the GK made AS ROMA last season, that they stay in Seria A.)

Roma does have a bunch of good players, and Cassano - like Totti - I believe can be great on the pitch, but off the pitch they're just really horrible

Despite his attitude, I dont think he'll come seeing that hes not really necessary to Milan right now

why we take cassano of roma. ok he is great striker like I already said, player with great future.

but we have enough attackers.
if roma wanne let some players go tue to there conflicts with transfermarket.

lets buy 'DE ROSSI' he is an international. great midfielder, hard worker. great player for our midfield and only +-23years old

Last season, Vieri was constantly injured too, so he is far from certainty either. This leaves us with two forwards we can rely on. I am not sure about you, but the last thing I would call this is "enough"

I think if Chelsea get him for 10M pounds, or some ridiculous price like that, then we would have missed out on a good opportunity.

While I have previously voiced my dislike for his poor attitude, I think playing with players of the calibre and maturity of Maldini, Sheva, and Vieri may very well improve his dysmal disposition, making him into a better person, and by extention, a better player.

Allowing him to go to Chelski would be a mistake for Milan, as I agree with zlatanov that with 2 injury prone strikers, Milan could do much worse than sign this youngster.

Cafu said that he would like Cassano to come to Milan in a statement on acmilan.com today.

Cassano could also be played behind 2 strikers if for some reason Kaka wasn't able to play ... If he's affordable then fine, but it won't happen. The set-up at Milan is always noted for its serenity and calmness, so we'd have a great chance of improving his attitude.

TAS has just lifted the transfer embargo FIFA had placed on Roma - www.gazzetta.it/calcio.
This means Cassano is almost surely leaving Roma this season since next year he will be a free agent and a contract extension seems to be the last thing he wants. Now the question is is it gonna be Milan or Juve, who gets him ...

What if Cassano just signs a 2 year extension or something ? With the embargo lifted isn't there a chance he might wait to see who Roma bring in and give it another season at least before he moves on ? It's slim i know, especially if he's burned all his bridges at Roma so to speak.

I'd love to see him at Milan, but i think he may end up at Juventus, but they would surely have to sell someone first otherwise they'll end up with 6 strikers. Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic, Del Piero, Zalayeta, Mutu and Cassano ?? I know Zalayeta might go in a deal for Miguel and i guess Mutu may be the next to be sacrificed, so who knows for sure.

With it being a World Cup season (as every player keeps mentioning) he would surely want first team football, something he wouldn't be guaranteed at either us or Juventus. Unless we change our system a little ? Play 4-2-3-1 with the three being Cassano, Shevchenko, Kaka ... and Gilardino further forward.

We still need cover at right back and for me a very good midfielder who will push Seedorf ( i guess that could be Jankulovski as he's being lined up to play everywhere on the left side and the right side at the moment) .. then maybe we can think about Cassano.

Cassano wants more money...Chelsea type money...its as simple as that..he will go to any club, as long as it:

a) allows him to make the type of money he is after (in excess of 100K a week I am sure)
b) keeps him under Lippi´s eye..

Its as simple as that...he would leave Roma for Lazio if the skyblues had the money to buy and pay him...

with 2 of our strikers being frequently injured recently... cassano if he came might have more playing time than he could expect ... we also have the money to pay him, moggi said its a waste of time to think about getting cassano so i would say we have the best chance of getting him... i would sell inzaghi in a blink of an eye and get cassano instead, it sounds much better and its also better for us financially. im guessing if chelsea came in for him he would join them unless he wants to stay in italy
