we seem in control but im worried about stam especially with sandro suspended for tuesday. how is tomasson doing by the way? he needs a good game

I don't really care whether it is 1-0 or 5-0. I hope we win and everyone is ok (especially STAM). we need to count on him Tuesday now that Nesta will miss due to the ban.

HT We are killing them, this could be 3,4-0 by the end!! BUT we have to be careful , parma can score and complacency could lose us this game, having said this, FANTASTIC FIRST HALD BY US

this is worrying me greatly..

Sheva was shown almost screaming at Seedorf at one point but I think Seedorf understood why because he sort of just took it without much reply. He had Kaka completely open and Sheva on the other side but he totally wasted the opportunity.

I think this is just a friendly frustration though, him and sheva exchanged pads of understanding.

Milan should have scored at least 2-3 by now. The possession is something like 90 Milan, 10 Parma.

This is the kind of Milan I just love watching. Wish they'd score a few more

here's what i think..


we played really well with our style of football - possession. The first 5 minutes of the game had 3 really dangerous chances, 1 through Gilardino, and 2 through Sheva and Kaka.

Here's what i have to say about our players

Dida - Good today, active, and concentrated..
Kaladze - Active, and moving up the flanks today..Played good
Maldini - Didnt see much of him, but he didn't make any mistakes when he got the ball..
Nesta - Played well.. Covered all the players well..
Stam- Had a good game, but i dont know why did he get subbed out?
Cafu - didnt see him much to rate him, but didnt play bad
Ambro - good game..
Rui - excellent game.. playing really well, although he is far far far far far more effective than kaka at the playmaker spot at this time of the season.. as you all noticed everytime rui was up, he made that amazing pass that led us to have a chance.. meanwhile
Kaka- played ****, i really am a huge fan of kaka, but at this time of season he's been really on terrible form.. his shot on the 3rd minute should have been buried, i certainly would have at least shot it on target, he blasted it high.. and he often lost the ball and was misplaced..
Seedorf - he was absolutley outstanding.. his passes and movements were excellent, although his finishing was very poor.. but to my opinion, i think he played one of his best halves of the season.. he was good...
Sheva- very good game.. the chance he had at the 5th minute infront of the goal was absolutely excellently taken, i mean, if he does that shot 100 times, it will be saved only twice maybe.. it was an absolutely amazing save from frey.. overall, sheva played well.. he shudda scored more if seedorf passed him the ball instead of opting to shoot
Tomasson- for all those ppl who doubt JDT... i have this to say......................... YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.. this person doesnt deserve to be sold but he deserves to be thrown in a trash can at the end of season.. absolutely useless.. he wasted a number of chances, and not one positive thing about him this half so far.. he wasted an oppurtinity from 4 yards out but luckily it fell to kaka after that and he finished it..

Halftime and we're leading 1-0 thanks to Kaka's goal after a mini pinball session in Parma's penalty area. Possesion wise, it's almost 70% possession for us Frey was called into action on several occasions with a string of superb saves which kept Parma only one down going to the break :boxing: Our midfield is passing the ball superbly, and I can't see us throwing 3 points away today

We could have made it four or five to zero already. We played with great ease in the first half. Seedorf was very active and sharp in the first 10 minutes, creating tons of chances forcing miraculous saves from Frey, though I believe that Kaka' and Sheva should have converted those two chances. Especially for Kaka', the first one was a sitter, much easier than his goal.

Then seedorf and sheva began their shooting contests, with most of them ending up high and wide. Sheva looked not so happy with Seedorf.

What worries me is Stam. We badly need him for Tuesday. With Cafu, our attack down the right is much more effective, expectedly. I hope Stam is fine and that was just precautious measure by Ancelotti.

The goal of ours was bound to happen. Happy that Kaka' didn't let it slip this time. It was a good birthday gift for this 23-year-old.

Parma didn't have many chances except for two. In the first minute, Gilardino tried to lob past Dida who shows tht he is the world's number one keeper. later, Parma had a chance but the header was weak and no angle. so no problem at all for Dida.

Ambrosini and Kaladze had decent performances, in both defense and attacks. Glad to have them. JDT was still quite quiet. He didn't get many chances anyway. Seedorf and Sheva took them all.

Great first half by Milan. Only drawback is that we haven't managed to score 2-3 goals but just one. The guys are simply killing Parma with more than 70% ball posession in the first half - 19 min for Milan vs 8.5 for Parma. We are pretty good in attack and seem to easily reach goal scoring opportunties. In Defence we get the ball from them before it even reaches our PA plus Parma are too busy defending to even think of going forward.
Stam I think is OK, he left the pitch by himself and didn't seem to have any problems walking off the pitch. In fact he looked a bit angered by the substitution and I think taking him out so early was more of a precautionary measure. His sub Cafu has been fantastic on the right - what a surprise, ha - so Stam walking off was a bit of a plus for us, at least for now.
Hopefully, Carlo won't allow the guys to slack off and will keep them concentrated and determined, which will be no easy task given our total dominance on the pitch. We NEED these 3 points, that's for sure, and it would be extremely stupid of us to miss on them just because we failed to keep our focus on the game.
