I agree lolofernandez ..... i think we should also buy Zanetti, Tevez, D'Allesandro and Crespo ... move to Buenos Aires ... play in blue and white stripes ... and call ourselves Argentina

ok, sorry ... i couldn't resist. But seriously, why only suggest those players ? There are better players out there, more appropriate ones for Milan ... don't you think ?

agree, but im sure Ancelotti has some sort of say (thought nof enough)...he got crespo.

i still admire Barca's transfer policy. They get leaders of teams (Van Bommel)...while we get out of contract players (Vogel) ?
yeah but we get players and turn them into leaders...

Or maybe move to Buenos Aires and call ourselves "Los Milanarios" - similar to what they call River Plate.
Anyway, LoloF does make a good point by suggesting Samuel, G. Milito, and Perea because they, along with Chivu and Alex (PSV), are pretty much all the decently aged defenders out there who have the quality to play for Milan.
A lot has been said about Kompany too, but he is 19 and is just too young and inexperienced to say with certainty that he is a defender of Milan quality. Kompany is still at the stage where journalists give you a lot of praise mostly because of being so young - sort of like Mexes. Kompany may develope into a great defender but that is yet to be see.

Blue and white stripes? Maybe we would be called the Yankees then.

I would target Perea (Incredibly fast, can play CB or RB), Samuel and Chivu.

"We have Vogel who has different characteristics to Pirlo, he has less vision but tactically he covers the pitch well. As for the rest, it is up to the club to decide what is best but I have no preferences." - Ancelotti

I like the sound of Vogel - the fact that he is able to get into the game more via "covering the pitch" will surely help our "defence" problem. I mean, in recent months i've noticed that our defenders actually close opposition strikers down quite well - that is, almost all of the goals Milan have conceded in recent times have come from midfielders, mostly from outside the area. (Smicer, the various strikes during Milans home game against PSV - Van Bomel, Inter Milan -- Kily Gonzales, Veron, Van Der Meyde etc. and the match against Brescia.)

I still want Van Der Meyde though

Vogel came, is someone leaving??

I think yes, but who will it be?
Absolutely, not Kaka, Pirlo, Seedorf, or Gattuso.

So.. Rui, Ambro, Serginho, Brocchi, or Dhorasoo?
Vogel plays the same role as Ambro..
This season, Ambro didn't play a lot as Pirlo's sub. After the arrival of Vogel, things are more complicated. I think Vogel and Ambro will sometime play Gattuso's place, as a "right wing", so they can get more minutes.
If this is what Carlo is planning, we will say bye to Brocchi!

I just wanted to welcome Vogel to Milan

I don't particularely agree with the transfer, but I hope that he proves me wrong.

The only reason that you don't agree with the transfer is probably because that you weren't expect it? Given some time, you will be much happier.
