Again fair point. You're a gentleman and diplomat mk18 and you have the right also to your opinion.

Just FYI:

Re: The Madrid Derby

Raul created the penalty for the first goal, and though he didnt have the impact I was hoping for, he played a solid game, and again (for me at any rate) contributed to the win overall.

C'mon guys, let's close this thread... nothing good can come out of this topic...

it amazes me that we have 5 pages of this...

it's like someone in Real Madrid forum saying : I would like to see Maldini with Madrid!

Non sense.

He isnot going to come to Milan but hey, he is better than Vieri to say the least. Then again, almost every strikier is better than Vieri. Did I say Vieri?

Too much heat in this discussion...shall I turn it up a few degrees?

Personally I prefer that petulant Cassano, or even the out of favour Del Piero...but thats another thread!

With regard to Raul...personally, in my opinion, I don't like the deal under any circumstances...free or not free. I dont think you can teach an old dog new tricks...I would avoid taking a player from any league less rigorous than Serie A who is in the twilight of his career. Like Del Piero, capable of moments of brilliance, but not consistent brilliance of yesteryear! But Del Piero is a seasoned Serie A campaigner, Raul is used to the free scoring, less technical La Liga.

if we are talking about a fantasy, why not Batistuta?, he is retired but i think in what ever shape he is, he could do better than Vieri, and he is so much handsome
