zambrotta is always impressive, the best LB in the world without competition. I still have hopes for GAllas, Berlusconi is now back and we can again expect the unexpected.

Zambrotta is not the best LB in the world! god bless me for saying this but i think Gabriel Heinze is.. Even Sergio Ramos( Real Madrid ) is better than Zambro... emerson is a direct duplicate of Gattuso, so no point in getting him.. if there is someone who can bring in a tactical balance in Milan i reckon its Nedved but he is nothing more than short term impact player i think ( atleast he is younger than Favalli

Gabriel Heinze? Sergio Ramos!? No way. I'm not saying that Zambrotta is the best LB in the world, but if you asked me to pick one from the above three, it would easily be Zambrotta. He is far better, and far more versatile. As for Emerson being a direct duplicate of Gattuso, I disagree as well. They play similar positions, but their attributes are different. I consider Emerson to be more in the mold of Ambrosini, but far more solid. BUt you're right, I dont see any point in getting the "wild boar" (that one's for you Grenoli!!) either. As for Nedved, he is short term, past his prime, and dives like a sissy. The only role for him in our team would be in Milanello---as tackling practice for Gattuso.

1. Ramos is a RB, he isn't a LB( in Real he often play as a CB).
2. I agree that Zambrotta is the best LB in the world. If Milan can have him, it's really wonderful. |

SkyEdge you should start watching football and not just reading papers. Zambrotta is brilliant, two footed, cant be run over, geat crosses, great defence, shooting and so on...

The reason I would prefer Zambro is mainly his versatility, and also the fact that he's Italian and that would help in the CL. But if we speak strictly for the LB position, I would be equally happy with Heinze as well. He is as good as Zambrotta IMO and I don't think it is easy to just single one of these two as the best. Also Heinze has had an impressive WC playing in CD, just like our Kaladze this season.

Heinze is not as good as Zambrotta at any department of football game. Nothing. He is a quality player but cant be compared to Zambrotta. He is just to powerfull and fast to be beaten by Heinze on a LB position. But, if you look at the way Jankulovski is playing Lb in this WC, im sure we can use him as our LB.

I think Sorin is easily as good as Zambrotta. They both have similar attributes, strength, versatility, but i would say Sorin is a little faster and is more of a threat attacking wise.
I wouldn't mind either one and have to admit that some days i prefer Zambrotta and other days i prefer Sorin. I think Sorin may edge it though as he has a dynamism about him that i'm not sure Zambrotta has.

Heinze and Sorin equal to Zambrotta? Impossible!
Zambrotta is the best LB in the world, and is also a great RB. Heinze is good in LB, but not as good as Zambrotta. Zambrotta is also good in ML and MR. He is also Italian. |

Sorin is not so good tactically, has some wild fouls and looses his positioning oftenly. Good player but way behind brilliant zambrotta. Zambrotta is a monster.
