No.. we'll play obviously buy better defenders. HOWEVER.. you can't trust playing extremely young players ESPECIALLY in defense. You can experiment in attack where mistakes are not punished as severely, but mistakes in defense cost matches. Which is why we've been linked with more experienced defenders e.g Zambrotta, Oddo while our younger players are loaned to get experience.

I don't mean keep Cafu. I KNOW he has to be replaced. But definitely not with a 20-24 year old with next to no experience. You simply can't just bring a 24 year old defender into your starting 11 and expect him to perform incredibly. I support our push fro players like Zambrotta and Oddo who have at least played in Serie A and know what to expect at the top level.

Well, Oddo and Zambrotta are excellent players, of course, but the media has been talking about their purchasings for ages, and we didn't see nothing concrete yet...

Well if not them.. then players of their caliber and experience. 22-24 year old forwards are fine. 22-24 year old midfielders are ok. 22-24 year old defenders.. nope.

the latest news i know are favalli,gourcuff,brocchi,foggia are confirmed as our players for next season. Coppola,borriello,dallabona might be loaned out. abbiati has been loaned to torino, marzoratti to empoli.
the tendency of this season to go for local players really impresses me.
