The latest is that he passed the medical but there is something still to sort out with Lopera...that is between the player and president but it could have something to do with the payment.

I believe it's because he met with us on Friday when he was supposed to meet Fenerbace reps, so some people are a bit annoyed about that. They (Betis) also want him to pay the fine they gave him before he leaves.

Something along these lines anyway. This transfer seems to be turning into a bit of a farce, how difficult is it to do things properly ?

Now Oliveira gets another fine for flying to Milan ...it's so funny how our transfer targets all end up with all kinds of delays ...it seems like we're always hitting a wall. And goal.com has removed the confirmation status of Oliveira from Betis to Milan plus there are rumors that another club has made a higher offer.

If indeed we hit another wall with Oliveira , I'm still hopeful that there will be a surprise/another signing but in the few days left till the deadline, I hope we don't spend enormous amounts of money because other clubs jack up prices for us.

If we sign Jon Dahl Tomasson or Roy Makaay, it would be a bold move but my heart says Torres is coming to Milan with Gallas and the Buffon

hmm nah we wont get Gallas, he isnt good-looking enough.. Torres and Buffon r hot so i think Berlusconi will make an economical sacrifice to sign them.. Im sure u agree with me in not wanting Ronaldinho coming here, for obvious reasons right?

This was a delightful thread to read...it shows so much of each poster´s personality, even with some one sentence posts....

We have the entire range represented:

The eternal pessimist: We wont sign anyone
The pragmatist: We will sign, but the surprise will be minimal
The optimist: We will sign 6 players before the deadline!

I for one, think that we may indeed get a signing, but Berlu, and not the management, (ie Galliani/Braida) is calling the shots...therefore, if the Ronaldinho "rift" is to be believed, then, welcome Ronaldinho Gaucho to Milan!

(Actually, I dreamt he was playing for us, and I was telling my wife about it...)

For me, I can only say that I am thankful that we are in Europe, I am thankful that our points deduction was reduced, and whatever happens, if it happens, is just icing on the cake for me.

And the poll results are pretty even..which is surprising...seems some of us are quiet optimists

Oliveira and mr.Oddo and we are fine. I can wait another year for Ronaldinho to wear our no.10, let Seedorf play with it this year.

He is simply not good enough to be an AC Milan player, we need legends like King Deigo, Marco Van Basten & Johann Cryuff and if he came to Milan, I would stop supporting Milan till his contract expires in 5 or 6 years tme its simple as that
