I was hoping Billy would stay around after his retirement. I'm glad to hear that the team will have his experience and guidance available to them for a while longer, now that he's joining the coaching staff. Il Professore indeed. Myabe he can teach Boriello a bit of Sex Education for Footballers 101..

As for Jeff's question about Leo..he's currently involved in the Foundazione Milan is he not?

Leonardo is now entirely dedicated to directing Fondazione Milan, but used to be also assistant to Adriano Galliani...

he will be back in that role...

Milan has a complete team of talent scouts... some of them are former players, for instance, Marcel Desailly recently took a position as scout for France and Africa...

Leonardo has not been a scout, he has been a facilitator in the negotiations with his former club Sao Paulo, from which Milan has acquired several players, and former players over the last few years, including Kaka'... also other brazilians, like Ronaldo who was his teammate in the 1994 and 1998 World Cups

No one has mentioned this yet (SANT already knows), but UDINESE-MILAN, our last home game of the season...will be Billy's send-off.

Yes, his LAST EVER game as a Rossoneri squad member. *takes a moment to swallow that information* He will be with us on the staffing side starting next season, so that makes things all the more bearable, knowing that Il Professore will be with us for years to come.

I hope the San Siro gives him the best send-off ever. He deserves nothing less. Grazie Billy for all these amazing years of excellent calcio and guidance. Grazie, grazie!
