Genoa VS Milan 14/9/08

I think:

---------------abbiatti---------
--zambrotta--maldini-kaladze-marek--
---------flamini---ambrosini------
---------------pirlo-------------
-------kaka'---------dinho---------
-----------shevchenko------

If we do not win on Sunday, then all is not well at the Milan camp. We will be in a crisis. Normally I'm not THAT dramatic, but we seem to be very disjointed on the field. I agree with mrki that Pato needs to play. He is the future, not Shevchenko.

We need three points and we need to get them convincingly. Otherwise, maybe, for the first time, I'll join the chorus of "sack Ancelotti". Great coach, but perhaps we need to shake things up.

HOnestly that match against Lugano should be a reminder that some of the players should not play for us anymore.

Lets hope we beat Genoa or else, I can very well see Carlo losing his job

Objectives: 3 points, 70% ball possession, atleast 20 clear cut chances on goal, 80% strike rate by strikers, Zero breach of our defence, zero saves for our keeper... anything less will be considered a failure.

NO SEEDORF!!

U reeeeeally think Carlo is going to bench Clarence? (even though, depending on Ronnie's fatigue level, I would field Kaka and R80 over the dutchman myself )

Just think that despite $heva's apparent return to form, Pato should start, so we field the Ka-Pa-Ro trident, but my money is on "Mr English Speakingkids" to start.

Can't see Senderos starting over Kaladze, but again, this for me is a measure of the level of fatigue the Georgian CB has coming from the international break.

Genoa's players will be fresher, so we will need to win the game in the first half, as too many of our players (as mentioned in a previous post in this thread) will be tired after the world cup qualifiers they will have played.

Carlo's job also seems to be on the line...if one believes the press...all the more reason why I think we will scrape the 3 points, as I think the players will respond to the threat faced by Carletto.

Won't b easy, but we can do it.

I doubt that, Warro, I think Milan will need some time to re-bound.

I read from a Chinese website (source probably from Italy) tat Senderos was injured during Friday's training.

yes, i have read somewhere that he felt a little pain, but he will be in our squad for match against Genova, probabily like a sub, but what you know, maybe we see him as a starter.

My formation:

---------------------------Dida-----------------------
Zambro------Senderos--------------Kaladze------Janku
---------------------------Pirlo-----------------------
-------Flamini-----------Seedorf-----------Kaka-------
-----------------Sheva----------R80------------------

or:

--------------------------Dida-------------------------
Zambro------Senderos---------------Kaladze------Janku
--------------------------Pirlo-------------------------
-------Flamini-------------Kaka-------------R80--------
------------------Sheva-----------Pato-----------------

GENOA-MILAN: THE CALLED-UP PLAYERS OF CARLO ANCELOTTI
9/13/2008

MILANELLO - 22 Rossoneri players have been called-up by coach Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the second matchday of the 2008/09 season against Genoa:

GOALKEEPERS: Abbiati, Dida, Kalac;

Warro, I dont think Carlo will bench Seedorf. That was MY lineup, as i would put it.

Kaka-R80
Sheva

Called up players:
