Fine. I was elated. I don't know if I will be able to sleep .

I am ambivalent towards Sheva. While I will never forget what he did for us, I still seethe over his departure.

I don't know about you but I have Sheva in my mind (the one who made amazing things for us and that we'll never forget) AND Shevchenko too (the one who left for Chelsea and who is nothing compared to the old Sheva). One single player, two places in my mind: when Shevchenko will leave, Sheva will stay in my mind but this Shevchenko we sometimes saw this year will leave my mind. It's weird !!

Bearing in mind I do bash Carlo once-in-a-while after bad games, I will admit that I was quite pleasantly suprised of Some changes in the Line-Up ( Esp With Flamini ) but he still has that Loyalty-To-Player Problem ( Seedorf again?? For The Love of God ).

It was preety Obvious that the KaKa-Seedorf Partnership wasn't working anymore and I was Elated he took Seedorf off Early. I believe it still too Early to expect too much from our KaKa esp since he's still fresh from Injury thus I fell the Crux of the Issue lies with Seedorf. Ronaldinho sure didn't bring the roof down either but atleast it was obvious he Had a Way better game than someone had mention earlier ( Useless? Are you blind? )..

Suprisingly, I felt somewhat assured and confident with Favalli ( of all people, I know ! ) in Central Defence tonight. Didn't feel Lecce was much of a constant threat besides the occasional scares ( You cant expect a total shut-out no matter how bad the Opponent )

All in all, I think todays game will provide much needed boost in self confidence for Senderos, Sheva & Dida as they all did well when called upon. Boring First Half, Entertaining 2nd Half with an Exciting Finale. End Product : 3 Points for Il Diavolo.. =]

I know what you mean man. Also, academic in the context I used it in meant "of no practical value."

Its not weird I feel the same way. When I think about the old Sheva that gave us so much joy, I smile, then I think about when he left and I get angry.

Our fullbacks were both really really bad today...our defence was scary at times, thank god Lecce is such a bad team. I think its time Carlo lets Pirlo play the same way he does for Italy, because Pirlo isn't being used to the full with Milan like he is for Italy.

1) Zambrotta should be the only defender to start in next year's back four. The rest aren't good enough.

2) We really are lacking creativity, we could hardly create any chances... personally, I'd like to see both Seedorf and Pirlo benched next year. Maybe Gourcuff could shed some light.

3) Pato is amazing

4) Carlo seems to have been whipped by some fans...I couldnt believe my eyes when he did the R80-Seedorf change...and then he brought in Sheva for Kaka. We played with three strikers, we witnessed history. If Carlo was like this all along........ sigh. We shouldn't play with one striker this season again.

5) Ronaldinho still has it in him, he needs more minutes. Sheva's cross was really good and it wasn't a so-so cross. He deserves a better chance to prove himself. I'd like to see him play for an entire half.

Well done Milan, but it was such a crappy team we played against today. I hope they find some sort of consistency. I haven't jumped for joy like that in quite a while!

It sucks when we have to watch a 0:0 for 90 min against Lecce, and with two chances created. I love Paolo, I love Kaka, but the only bright spot of this team is Pato., to some point Kaka. But very dispointing to my Milan stuggle so much against a side like Lecce who are rock bottom.

I was angry and disappointed in him, too, when he left. But after everything he's been through in the past three years and watching him suffer humiliation at Chelsea and back at Milan, I have forgiven him. I still believe in him and think he deserves more time on the pitch. He didn't do anything spectacular today and it wasn't game -changing (the game was already won) but at least give him credit for what he did well. I will call for credit for him on this forum whenever I think he deserves it.

Sheva is god!

he is my fav player of all time. he still has it. anyone see england vs ukraine? he is still able to finish. if you look at his stats for chelsea, they are incredible, dont take into considerations they game he went on in the 89th min. look at the games he started. maurinho just never played him.

if ancelloti wasnt a tool he would give sheva a change. he can still be an amazing player and the same sheva we had before he left. he is the type of player that needs the team to be build around him, and if that is the case he will deliver.

we need Kaka sheva and pato to be togeather and work an attack around that. take shevas and patos strenght and weaknesses togaether and make a team.

Ancelotti's recently tactic (more offensive and not to defend at all cost after leading) started against Bremen but the good-great results arrived 2 games after that (the game after vs Sampdoria) if I remember correctly.

With Ancelotti's tactic right now, the problem is only in making the first goal, not like before (almost 2 years), the problems lay on making the first goal AND maintain the 1-goal leading. I do think, Milan will win big if Milan can make the first goal before, let say, 75th minutes.

I think this game underlines again and again that we need something more than just big CF upfront. We need more creative midfielders because it's clear that the ones we have now have been literally running out of ideas for years when playing against such a defensive team. Forget about the weekly stupid comment made by Galliani (Carletto's tactics won us this match). Why he kept on playing Snaildorf is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries to me.

Our performance went from bad to worse as the match wore on. The only player that stood out was Pato. Despite unintentionally deflected the ball to score our 1st gaol and the back-heel to Sheva, I think this is the Dinho's worst performance for Milan. He lost the ball nearly everytime he got it. It's just unbelievable!

Did you actually watch the game?!?

There's something wrong here. There is a trend of bashing somebody, and everybody is eager to jump on the bandwagon...

First it was Dida, sometimes he really was bad, but some people bashed him all the time, sometimes just for getting up in the morning...

Than it was Ancelotti, some people blame him for our transfers ( clearly Berlu and galliani are to blame here more than carlo), and never give him credit for the good things he's doing..like yesterday..playing with 4 forwards in the end of the game which eventually gave us victory...

And now it's Ronaldinho...he was pretty good yesterday, gave some delightful passes, dribbled past defenders, had a great free kick saved...always asked for the ball...after he came in we started to play...I would say this was one of his best games in a long time...

I really don't understand your post nalx, sorry to say this but your last statement is totally untrue.

I know you guys are frustrated by our bad season but it is no reason to bash somebody when they do not deserve it.

I must say I agree about Ronaldinho, he was great yesterday, and tried to run back defending as well which is something he did not do a lot this season, I'd say give him more time and work more on his phisical fitness and we will have a champion in our team.

Carlo was strange, I mean when was the last time Milan played with 3 strickers and 2 creative midfilders?

P.S. I LOVE PATO
