Lets dump all those players and replace them with Pugol(still good but just not the piece Milan needs), Toni, Henry, VanNistelrooy, Guti, Beckham, Giggs, and Gallas.

It was him and Marcelo(at 18 and 16yo if i´m not wrong) running the show of the team. But for some reason that I don´t know, Lenny just "forgot" how to play... His form drop in such a way, that nobody gave him a contract. Just Luxemburgo when was Palmeiras coach.

One of the countless Brazilians young promises that pops here, and for some reason can´t keep a high level of play for more time... and it wasn´t injure problems(like Kerlon) our lack of hard work. Just forgot how to play...

Btw, he was a second striker, and I really can´t see him finding consistence to play in a big club again.
EDIT:Just find this goal in a HUGE game of Brazil´s Cup against Cruzeiro... The game that started the hype on Lenny. Shame that he couldn´t keep the level of play.

Thats my point, Saliwonczyk...Marquinhos never show anything to be worth this label of "The new Kaká". In his better games, as a Vitória player, he was a winger for the left. He never was a AMD. If I was obligated to label him as as famous player, I would say a "Brazilian Kalou"(of Chelsea).

It was a typical work made by a greedy journalist and a player agent... and a bad work, because they have nothing in comum. If he wanted to hype Marquinhos without to look bad(and even so, overhyping the boy), the best comparisson would be the "new Nani". Because when the journalist wrote Marquinhos and AMD in the same sentence, he lost all the credibility...

By the way......does anyone know more about Marco Calderoni??? CM(DCM) that plays for Piacenza and played for Italy during the U20 WC just now in Egypt.

I watched some of the Italy-Hungary game today and I liked what I saw from this young man. He played as a holding mid for the most part. He moved in as a makeshift defender after the red cards took place and the game was all over the place. Made some mistakes towards the end but who didn't. Towards the end of the game, that didn't even look like football anymore. Italy had 3 red cards.

Anyhow...I haven't seen him play other then today, but like I said.....I liked what he did on the field. If anyone has seen more of him please share your opinion. I am going to try and watch the previous games as well (Spain and Egypt). Then I'll be able to give a better opinion on this kid.

Aaargh, Puyol would be another mistake. And his salary will have to be higher than what Barca (and Man Utd, etc) would be willing to offer. And after 1 good year, his form will drop and we start looking for replacements----remind you of Zambrotta?

I dont know why we end up saving on transfer fees only to pay them in the form of huge wages...Our wage bill is the highest in serie A isnt it?

Not really. Our club is one of the exceptions in that we've had enough versatility in our fullbacks to be able to cover both sides with players like Zambrotta, Antonini and to a lesser extent Bonera.

However, let's look at some top clubs in England, Italy and Spain. In England, Man Utd have Neville and Evra and neither can play on the opposite wing. Chelsea have Bosingwa and Cole, with again neither versatile enough to play on the opposite wing. At Real we have Sergio Ramos and Drenthe/Marcelo, all of whom can only play on one side. Barcelona again have the same situation as Dani Alves can't play LB and Abidal can't play RB. Juve too, players like Grygera, Molinaro and De Ceglie only really play on one side. Inter have one fullback, Santon, who can play on both sides, whilst the others all play one side.

Your theory has little backing to suggest it can work. Rafinha I don't think has ever played on the left and isn't likely to just be able to adapt to the left, and you need to be sure he can play on the left should you suggest him for LB.

This talk of selling KJH is surely a joke or unfounded speculation. He didn't have a pre season and since he has played he gets little time and no service. If he goes then it will officially show the management team have lost all grip on reality.

reality is that - Huntelaar hasn't had one chance on goal since he joined Milan, service or not that's absolutely horrendous. I doubt that Pippo is more skilled than Huntelaar but he seems to always be moving around and getting the chances, Pato has also had chances. Huntelaar looks so lost in this team, I do not doubt his quality, I just think he lacks the character (and probably cause he doesnt speak italian) to play in Milan (just like Gila).

BTW Edin Dzeko scored again today for Bosnia, also Ibisevic scored (remember the guy that scored 18 goals in 17 matches last season in Germany) to send Bosnia and Hercegovina to the play off for the World Cup.

Brasiliero: hey man I just saw the first half of the flamengo and sao paolo game, hernanes scored a very cool goal and made it look very easy...however I did not see him do anything else impressive in the first half...let's see how he plays in the second. I was more impressed with #15.
