I'm not blaming him, I'm just noting that Gila happened to be in the way at the time of the goal, but everyone is unobservant of it. I can't get mad at Gila for getting caught up in the heat of the moment.

Look, i said it once and ill say it one more time...

U need to work in order to get service. Standing in offsice position scratching defenders back wont help! How come kaka got 4-5 brilliant chances and gila none? Because he was working his butt off for those chances! Gila had his service but he was usually bussy with wrestling the defender/falling down/being too slow - or his first touch simply failed. Cant blame the service (which was ok since we score 2 from close range) just because he had a bad game.

Heck with this, I think he is the one, the only one who can do this.
L. Messi is too inconsistent and young.
P.S. just re-watched the 2nd goal of Kaka, WOW, i haven't seen before his header between the two defenders, I thought they just collided and crashed out.
Pure geniuine masterpiece, majestic touches and headers ...
One of the best goals of this year. Definitely the best in the CL... Whoa!

My two cents.

BMWTaylor and Tony's posts have summed up completely my points here. It's ok for members to post f__k Dida and Dida is soo useless etc etc......but as soon as I knock gila people start making excuses..."oh the team didn't play to his strengths", "he's young and one for the future", "our midfield is not passing to him enough" etc etc.... So why do the excuses fly in for Gila and not Dida? As soon an anyone scores a goal against us I can almost predict that I'll hear Dida is useless, past it , amateur etc etc......but if Milan fails to score it's the team's fault. Now I'm being compared to mzk57 because I can't stand to see our massive investment look like he'd rather be parading himself down a milan catwalk than a football pitch. It makes no matter that I stick to the issues about Gila's game, playing styles and impact on the game. Unless I'm kidding around I generallynever attack him personally. But this criticism is too much for poor Gila right??? We should keep paying/ playing him till he's 30+ right. The thing is you can see Dida is trying.....how many times the poor guy has injured his shoulder making diving saves......taking missiles thrown at him.........I wonder how many blasting him now know that he was getting hit from stuff thrown in the stands???

But hey...what do i know right?? Maybe you guys rather a player who seems to be headding in the direction of Thierry Henry.....tons of goals but nearly none that matter. Gila is going to end up this season with a decent tally and his fans are going to close their eyes/ ears and just shout the numbers out. Call me stupid but I rather see a guy runaround like a headless chicken all match trying taking a million shots, making mistakes.......trying to do something
than to have a guy sit back and do nothing because our midfield isn't suited to him. Then a bunch come armed with your stats books and point to the fact that he's very accurate and of the few shots he takes, he scores a high percentage......Again I might be crazy but goals are more likely to be scored proportionally to the attempts made. Kaka shot all day today.....who is to know which one of those shots would have went in??

Pietro, Adrinaldo, you dont want to go there. Ive called Gila pathetic, I didnt say anything about you. If your parents didn't raise you properly I'll gladly do it. Respect others to get respected.

Back to the game: Man Utd deserved at least a draw out of this and really, we would have been absolutley hopeless and had no chances of scoring any other goals had it no be for the absolute brilliance of Kaka in both the goals. Not any player in the world today could have done what Kaka did for us. We have absolutely no threat without him, Gilardino is supposed to be our striker but he has been utterly useless in our CL campaign for the last two seasons. I dont understand why we give him so much faith but yet he gives us NOTHING? Maybe people like Pietro and Adrinaldo dream of him everyday thats why they want him to stay in Milan, but seriously guys, how much longer can you put up with these performances?

You tell me he doesn't get enough service - that is because he doesnt MOVE AT ALL, GO LOOK. In the last two seasons he actually runs TOWARDS defenders instead of away. Just look at Pippo, it takes him 1 minute on the field to get noticed because he is all over the pitch. Gila is fkin just standing in between the 2 CB's doing nothing waiting to dive. I wish n pray he doesn't play the San Siro game. Him gettin suspended against Bayern was a blessing in disguise, people wonder why we played well up front, it was because Gila wasn't there.

This guy stumbles under pressure and can't handle big games. Well, maybe he will eventually but he hasn't so far. He is hurting Milan. Enough is enough, he should be on the bench in the San Siro. Dida's performance was also so confusing, so good but yet so bad. He should have done better on ALL of the goals, but it is true he couldn't have done any better in some of the perfect saves.

Anyway forza milan we can really do it we just need to be more organized. We need to create more, move more. Maybe with Pippo on the team will be able to create more, because Kaka n Seedorf will have alot more space. Also Pippo is good with crosses, so Oddo and Janku's crosses can be vital.

What I want in leg 2:
- Rino to be fine, he trully made a huge difference.
- Oddo to play well, his inexperience in CL is affecting his performances
- Gilardino to be benched for any of Gourcuff, Inzaghi, Oliveira..maybe he can be useful as a sub if everyone gets injured
- Dida to play with more confidence and consistency
- CHEER TO THE DEATH AND NEVER LOSE HOPE

BTW, if Kaka gets a yellow at the San Siro will he miss a potential final???

I am not going to read goal.com, channel4.com, calciomercato.com and more rubbish.com today where Inter tards post comments like they're more happy of Fatboy United beating us than winning their paperboard scudetto. It's better, for my nerves, for my envirronement and for everything in a 20 feet radius around me.

i watched the game live yesterday and have to say it wasnt the kind of game in which a player in the Gila + Inzaghi mold would shine. There was hardly any crosses, and most of the play was on the ground, and alot of breaks.. Which players like Sheva and co are better at. Yet again if Milan lose its Gilardinos Fault. Oliviera was soo great last night (so great he didnt even play), and Dida....

3-2 wasnt such a horrible result, we just have to do another Bayern at home.

Why is there so much hostility among all us Milan Fan Brotherhood? whats the point of quarrelling, blaming & threats being thrown about? Why do everyone insist on seeing the negatives instead of the positives??

1) Milan suffered coz Gattuso picked up an injury that gave us less *cover* in midfield and maldini was taken out for either tactical or injury reasons too. We were outplaying Man Utd even then.. see the good in that??

2) Man Utd is renowned for their Attack and for us to sit back and try to def in the 2nd half was actually a ridiculous tactical guffaw by Ancelotti.. With so many Man Utd senior defenders out, this was the best time to kill off the tie in 1 leg.. we chose to do it the hard way. ( we did it b4 with bayern Anyways.. lets do it again )

3) Kaka has proven that he is a Man for the Big games. C.R is totally outclassed but not Rooney..

4) We're gonna whoop their candy butts in San Siro.. Believe in Milan.

Quite simply Milan lost last night.

Milan conceeded 3 goals.

The blame lies with Milan as a team because of the way the team played in the 2nd-half, not because of individuals.

You win as a team, you lose as a team.

Everyone is blaming Dida, Oddo,Brocchi, Gila etc...Kaka missed to chances in the 2nd half which would have given us victory - not pointing fingers just proving my statements above.

The team just stopped playing - Dida actually managed to keep the scoreline decent and avoid an embarrasment.

Gila wasn't in the game blah blah blah.

Look at the brightside...next season Ronaldo will be available for the UCL and if all the rumours are to be believed then Buffon will be in goal and Berlusconi will use his personal cheque book and Dinho will be in the team as well

And then we have Ronaldo, Kaka, Dinho and Buffon.....however if we press the "switch-off" button don't think they're going to help.

Wow, what a game. I am still really really frustrated by the result given the circumstances.

This and a whole host of other Milan games in the Ancelotti era brings to mind Berlusconi's recent talk with the team when he said that if our players cannot hold onto the ball and close games out, then they are not real professionals. That summarizes Ancelotti's AC Milan.

We produce great football, score goals, put ourselves in supposed positions of advantage and then throw it all away because we are unable to close games out. This game should have been sealed at 2-1. How many times have we thrown away leads? HOw many times have we conceded on set pieces? How many times have we conceded in the final minutes?

Either way, this tie is far from over. Man Utd should be trembling now, because we are AC MIlan and they will have to come to our home and stop us. If we play like we know how, we will beat them at the San Siro. My only hope is that we start adopting the right mentality and either close teams down when we are leading or go for the jugular and finish teams off early. This is going to be the key IMO.

ANyways, FORZA MILAN. Let's play like we know how in the second leg and even if we lose I'd rather we do it with dignity, and not with conceding soft goals like we are doing. Hopefully Gattuso and Maldini return.
