Adriano didn´t change. Still miss some pratices, is in a better shape but still overweight, and I really hope he doesn´t come to Milan.

It´s incredible Dunga give him so many chances, and for Pato, Diego and others just crticism... After his injure today, the team play improved a lot.

Brasiliero: hey man I just saw the first half of the flamengo and sao paolo game, hernanes scored a very cool goal and made it look very easy...however I did not see him do anything else impressive in the first half...let's see how he plays in the second. I was more impressed with #15.

Milan coach Leonardo has just 180 minutes of football to prove he is worthy of keeping his job as the club lose patience with him.


According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the Brazilian has been given two matches to turn the team's dwindling fortunes around. The Rossoneri have been stuck in a rut, and they will need to evoke winning performances against Roma at the weekend, followed by Real Madrid in the Champions League.


The report claims anything less than wins in both matches will see the coach being sacked and replaced by former centre-back Filippo Galli. He will be a temporary solution to guide the team through the season before the club appoints Luciano Spalletti in the summer.


Marco Van Basten's name is also circulating around Milanello, but Galli seems to be in pole position. The Italian has received praise for his solid work in Milan's youth sector, and he could be promoted sooner rather than later.

Despite the reports, the Rossoneri have not confirmed any plans to replace Leonardo.

It's ridiculous and unfair should there be any truth to that article (which at this point I don't believe).

Leo may be making mistakes, but right now there are far bigger problems within the club that are clearly factoring into our crisis, and Leo is pretty low down the list of problems. That said, Leo's selections at times are very questionable and I'm a little disappointed at how rigidly he's stuck to Carlo's set up.

Either way, I think Berlu has other problems to worry about and Milan and Leo are probably quite low down his list of priorities. Galliani I doubt will take such a drastic action given his relationship with Leo.

I think before Leo is sacked, he needs to be given a squad which can actually compete and is relatively balanced. Right now looking at just the first team the only areas where he's been supplied with well is the central defence, a midfielder (Flamini) and a forward (Pato). He's got an over the hill midfield that is still struggling for form, wingbacks that are an embarassment, no reliable creative talents (with a restriction of having to play an unprofessional Dinho) and 3 strikers to select from, none of which offer the qualities he requested.

About Leo's sacking rumour, personally i don't buy it. But I can't help wondering what has Galli achieved with the youth team that he's preferred to Tassotti who have been assistant coach for our team for years?

Brasileiro....what do you think about Manuel de Brito Filho "Obina" of Palmeiras. It said he's on loan from Flamengo dubbed as Brazilian Samuel Eto'o by Flamengo's supporters. Braida is trailing him "on Milannews"

The Gazzetto reports that the "old guard" has asked Leo to switch to a 4-4-2, apparently forgoing the tequartista...

This of course (unless he plays as a 2nd striker or left winger) effectively eliminates R80, and somehow it seems a retrograde step.

But what do I kno? Let's see if:
a) its true
b) it works.

I've suggested it in recent weeks too. We've used it to better (not good) effect when trying to breakdown opposition defences during matches than 4-3-1-2.

In addition, it reduces responsibility on the trequartista in the side as they'd have more support and balance.

ARIO, the Obina X Eto´o comparisson was more a joke of Flamengo fans. Eto´o was scoring a lot in Barça, and since Obina was scoring also for Flamengo, their fans creaty a little song saying it. But that wasn´t serious...

It help also that Obina is focloric type, a Sancho Pança type, and there was a little of prejudice from Flamengo fans, even when they are in love with him.

Obina is a very humble and nice person, and I want all the best for him, but he isn´t that great. He´s a big body that can score, but lack skills.

I really can´t believe Braida is after him... If it´s true, we are cursed

Regarding Leo 2 games news, can´t believe it´s true. At least thats not our board behaviour...

4-4-2 could work. When is Bonera coming back? he should be given a shot at the RB.

Flamini would play a bit behind Pirlo in a more defensive role and Pirlo would be allowed to much up more. Abate and Janks are our best right now and running up and down the flanks and sending balls in to the strikers.

Dinho showed up on training hour and a half before everyone else, woho Big deal, came to work hard once in a year...

Hey I wanted to ask you a couple q's. What are your thoughts on juan maldanado and adriano rumors? No one will deny on talent, adriano should be up there w/ drogba and torres for best #9 in the world... but his mentality is 1, that I would NOT want him in milan. ESPECIALLY with ronaldinho around.

Juan, i mean he's good LB going forward from what i've seen but he really is tiny...

Second, I saw Diego Souza got a selecao call up? Can you tell me about him? Someone on another forum said he is reminiscent of gourcuff... how good is he?
