i think kimi will win the race today, as long as his mclaren holds out. for some reason
schumi just doesn't have the pace this weekend, but hopefully as in imola. he'll be there for hte race, i can see him clinching a podium, but he's got nothing but tough cars ahead of him. alonso will have a stormer of a race imo, it'll be great to see him fight with raikkonen IF he has the speed to match him. should be a great race

total sh*te... boring race with boring end... noone intended to fight... only Schumi could do some action, though bridgestone failed ... I could say, that last weekend was terrible for me... none of my teams preformed... what a shame... one good thing that Nando conitues title race and remains the first challenger... even Schumi has only 10 points after 5 races, I still believe in Him and Ferrari. Monaco is our kingdom! I bet you will be proved

Great race weekend for me to make up for the disappointment in the Juve game

McLaren showed real pace in both the qualifying & race. Be afraid, be VERY afraid

Obviously McLaren's MP4-20 is the fastest car on track for this time being, but it ain't that reliable and it's frightening me..

next race is Monaco GP, we don't need the fastest car but the better luck.

btw, a surprising news from Davide Brivio, the manager of YAMAHA MotoGP Team, Valentino Rossi has extended his contract for just 1 year addition til 2006 because in 2007 he wants to drive an F-1 car, probably Ferrari

No, Rossi has rejected such opportunity... at least for now definaltley....

Kimi won the Monaco Grand Prix from pole and Montoya finished a respectable 5th after starting from the back of the grid

But the real winners this weekend has to be Williams, with both drivers finishing on the podium

Michael Backmarker, unable to find his way past Coulthard, pushed him onto the barricades forcing the Scot to retire Jean Todt and his Evil Empire stole 3 points in the end in typical Juve fashion

I wonder if Rossi'd consider joining F1. Switch from MotoGP. That'd be cool

the ferrari is the fastest car in f1, unfortunatley it takes half the race for it to warm up and until that time its useless, renault sufferd badly today, and now alonso is under real pressure from raikkonen in the driver's championship. also congrats to minardi, they actually qualified 12th and 13th!

I think all the new rules have ruined F1. Especially the tyre rule. Thats bloody ludicrous

Keep yer comparisions with zebras to yerself cuz yer McL resembels much more to juve than Ferrari rossi...

By the way, Schumi was inable to aviod the crash, cuz it happene just passed the turn where nothing could be seen. In addition I should say that Schumi ruined his race in that accident too.

Basically you are totally right . I have to admit that. We are so strong during the race, but there are some reasons why we do not realise it. First is that we do not preform in quallification. Second is that most of F1 tracks are not race tracks at all. You simlpy can not overtake yer rival even though you are much faster.

Otherwise I do not think that it will last for long time. Our team is trying to erase these problems in trainings and I hope they will do it ASAP. That's why Ferrari is great!

Nando and Renault is under pressure for sure. They do not preform in race like they used to earlier, and McL is seems to be a fast one and in the qual and in the race at the same time. However I still believe in Scuderia and Schumi

yeah, it's so ironic. Teams are working hard to develop faster cars, but FIA keep cutting down the speed by creating many ridiculous regulations, especially tyre rule.

By the way, FIA have changed the regulation for Qualifying Session. It will be One Qualifying at Saturday. with only 1 flying lap I think all teams must gamble to determine their car setting and pit-stop strategy.
This regulation starts from European GP at Nurburgring, this weekend.


about the Monaco GP, Kimi won it quite easily. seems like no other contender could challenge him. He maintained his lead from start (pole) to finish, even after his pit-stop. another "clean sheet" for him after Barcelona.

I do salute his decision not to take pit-stop during safety car situation (even his team has told him to do so) and prefer to seize the gap. and he succeded!

anyway, it was nice to hear Button's commentry..

by the way, with that result, Schumi failed to win (remains 5 wins), then "The Prince of Monaco" is still Ayrton Senna da Silva (6 wins).
and Kimi is the 3rd Finn ever won The Monaco GP after Keke Rosberg and Mika Hakkinen.

fvckin rules ruined SF in qualification... I hope we will start to do better from next change of qualification....
