ruud is injured for the next 6 weeks(achillies injury), i wish it could have been a little longer, but he should be fit for the milan game if he responds to the treatment. if however he doesn't play, you guys shouldn't even bother showing up

this is quite mean...i mean, to wish that any player be injured for a longer period of time

I would actually love to see us winning the match with them having ruud in the team, that`d bring bigger satisfaction.

If Milan can play like today, it will be an easy win.

like i said...both teams are capable of doing great things. If both teams give it their all and show their best sides... it wont be an easy win for anyone.

Anyway, great attacking performance against Palace. Reminded me of the United of old (not too old though). Ronney looked a bit off colour in the first half. Fletch was brilliant. Giggsy turned back the years a few times during the match

But two bad goals given away. Hope we fix that.
And hope Ruud makes a speedy recovery.

We scored 5 without trying too hard, and we did it without Ruud

It seemed to me that their is a greater fluency to our play without Ronaldo on the pitch as Fletcher fits into Utds style better. Most of the attacking players were quite happy to shift the ball around with only 1 or 2 touches and with Scholes, Rooney, Giggs and Smith all switching between attack and midfield it was simply too much for Palace to handle Ronaldo certainly provides a different dimension to the attack but i hope he saw yesterday how it is easier to dismantle a team through passing and movement than through stepovers

Ruud should be back in a month and Saha soon after so by the time the Milan game arrives we should have our full strikeforce available

Guys don`t get too excited ...you played Crystal Palace; they`re like the wors team in EPL...anywayz Scholes` first goal was a beaty, and Giggs had a couple good attacks too...reminded me of the old Giggso..well not so old, but yah no wat I mean.

obviously it was only Palace, and Emerson Boyce is no Nesta but its always good to score 5 goals

Scholes is well and truely back in business. When on this form he is like a magnet, wherever the ball is he is available and he is extemely hard to contain. As for Giggs, i just hope they delay offering his contract extension until the end of the season as he seems to be playing brilliantly now that he has to prove himself again
