As far as I understood, he is out untill the rest of the year.....meaning he'll be back in January. Still doesn't make anything much better as we could have really used him in these next few months.

As for Onyewu, it's really unfortunate for him that he gets injured like this now. But he simply isn't improving. This guy is not good enough. He'll have an occasional good game, but his positioning is simply laughable. It is way off the standard of a top European club. I said this the day we signed with him......that his positioning NEEDS to become much better if he is going to contribute to this team, and so far that hasn't happened.

Onyewu out for months. Bonera reportedly out for the year. great days.

The game was shown on TV at 01.45 AM in my country yet I decided to watch cos I wanted to see Dzeko play, not just from some highlights. Personally, I think Bosnia only played well for the first ten minutes (where they tested Casillas two times) and then the final ten minutes when they scored two goals after they were down 0-5. For the most part of the game, Spain controlled the match.

The first half was really bad IMO. Too many wrong passes, misjudgement (esp. by the GK), and egoistical play. Edin himself was vanished from the game. His first shooting to the goal was on the 47th minute in the second half. Moments later, he selfishly opted to shoot from a tight angle (which was blocked by Spain player) while there were several of his team mates waiting in the box.

Thankfully, he played better ever since. Drifted to the wings, trying to hold to ball before passing it to the others. His goal was beautifully taken. The situation was similar to his selfishness I just describeb above, but this time his decision was proved to be right. He curled the ball to the far post and the ball went in.

Anyway, this is the first time I saw him playing for the whole 90 mins so obviously I can't judge him from just one match.

If we are really to axe Huntelaar then we can use him in some better trade then with those Tottenham players that are mentioned inthe papers.

With our fullbacks being lousy and Bonera injured, plus Favalli and Kaladze are completelyour of serious football state, we need to thing about the back line again as we only solved first CB's pairing. The news about Bocchetti is great but I doubt Galliani has power to sign young great players fron serie a! Bocchetti can also play as a LB so...

Another defender injured ouch even if it was Gooch was below expectable standards he still had the characteristic of a good defender tall strong just a pity that his defensive positioning was so poor. Hopefully as a short term solution Milan will call up Albertazzi and in the long term I hope the management are prepared to invest some funds into buying Bocchetti.

Bocchetti would be great, I would love to have Cristico as well

Agreed, Bocchetti and Santacroce are my picks should we decide to get a young CB for the future.

So Beckham is coming back Im not really happy with that , last year he got two goals and a couple of assists. Now he is year older and our players a year older and so low on confidence it isnt really going to make much of a difference. What actually annoys me is it says Galliani smiling with glee at the signing on loan of Beckham...In my opinion that just is not good enough.

I do believe some Milan fans were afraid that Beckham wouldnt resign , and more afraid that he would. All in all no top level club even one in bad shape with aspirations to reach the top again would sign David Beckham...FACT.

I can assure you, Kaladze can't be blamed for any of the goals for Bulgaria. Just the Georgian keeperS were really bad. The first one was really a joke and he was substituted after 3-0 (he litterally gifted 2 of the goals), and after that it turned out that their second goalkeeper is not any better too. In the 44th minute it was 6-1... Georgian fullbacks sucked too, Kakha couldn't help much...

Jay, I disagree. David Beckham was one of the big reasons we were able to push for a, however unlikely, but somewhat credible scudetto push. Yeah, it failed, but, he was great for us.

He really did bring a new dynamic to Milan, and regardless of his age, he played very well. Plus, he'll only be here for six months, so it's not like we're stuck with him.

Becks is desprate to make the WC, so he will play his heart out
