As Kastriot said, Elia came on for Van Der Vaart during the second half. He added width and pace which Netherlands sorely lacked during the match before he came on.

He did well and could be one worth keeping an eye on during Robben's absence.

Like the two posts above, I am sure that Elia came on in the second half for VDV also.

Also, I understand what you are saying about Krasic. I agree with you about the opening up of space for others and the movement. I actually appreciate a players' off-ball work just as much as you do, believe me. And it's true that Krasic did a lot of that. But also as I said earlier, I feel like at times he tried to do too much of that. he doubled up with players all the time. Went to places where he didn't need to go. IMO he just didn't have a good game and didn't play as good as I've seen him play with his club. But again, he is not a bad player. I don't think anyone is saying that.....but just that he didn't have a good game.

To me it seemed like he was akward as a traditional RM as he seemed to be in that game. CSKA plays him in a slightly different role and gives him a bit more freedom. He is a good player nonetheless so let's see how he does in the next game.

€ 5 millions ia a ridiculously huge amount of money for a relatively unknown 15 year old youngster. Besides, it's his own president that dubs him as a new Baggio. Sounds like marketing gimmick to me.

He's only 15yo, he can turn to be nothing, the best players at 15 are not always the best players at 18 and later ...

We have no real budget for moment and we would spend that much money on a young talent going to play with the Primavera for at least 2 years before eventually make it to the first team ?!

We don't know anything about him, he probably only played with the youth teams (someone can confirm that ?), the hype about this player seems to come from his president who said he was the new Baggio. It's like saying that Zigoni is the new Toni, Verdi the new Cassano, etc. At this age, that doesn't mean anything.

So I'm all against this deal as you probably understood it !!

A report on TMW is about Lazio giving up with Oddo because he asks too much money, but some Spanish clubs would be interested.
