Absolutely no power behind Juve these days, and too much anger in Italian public, too many people against Juve, and too much power on the side against Juve !! And Capello : He did the same thing with Roma. He was saying he won't leave the club in those days when Roma had financial crisis, but he left it immediately when he saw how big those crisis were ! He's doing the same thing now, and i don't blame him at all. He's not a Serie B, or Serie C coach !

I haven't read each and every posting in here so please excuse me and don't jump all over me if this has been stated. But let's face it no matter how much wrong doing Juve has been accused of or will be convicted of..... It's about money and for that fact alone they won't be relegated to Serie B. The league will lose too much money, period. I think that the board and staff will be replaced and they will stay right where they are..... The outrage will settle and the fans will come back to support.

Beg to differ Miss S. (dont read Tony 29)...
Click here for actual article [quote] WHAT THE PAPERS SAY Thursday 15 June Gazzetta dello Sport Juve revolution John Elkann: “We’re starting fresh chapter after a sad time and reprehensible comportments” Corriere dello Sport Juventus accept Serie B John Elkann: “We’re ready to pay. There have been reprehensible comportments” Tuttosport Juve reborn Cobolli Gigli will be the President Alex, the symbol [quote] Based on what I have been reading, and some input from our resident Juve fan, Tony 29, it looks bad for Juve, and relegation is becoming more and more of a certainty, rather than just a possibility... Its just now, a matter of time until its official.. And this for me is such good news Muh ha ha ha ha haha ha ha! ![]()

No they are just quotes from those papers, but google gazzetto etc, and use its translation service to read the paper if you wish..
But channel4.com is reputable, and they simply translate the headlines of three of the more important papers with regard to football in Italy...

The more i think about it...i really feel sorry for Juve not being able to play in CL next year, or about the players leaving, but there is some strange feeling...releif or something, that i have when i think that there won't be any shocking moments next year, as there were whenever Juve was playing against Milan, Inter or against Werder or Arsenal in CL, not to mention those finals against Dortmund, Real and Milan....i lost at least 10 years of my life with these matches
![]() I know that it is the beauty of football, but when you're over 30 it's just too much. I think that every single season Juve was taking a year of my life with some shocking matches, and i believe that a season in Serie B will make my life one year longer. You know what i'm talking about...Milan also played some shock matches in last few years. So, Juve in Serie B and quiting the cigaretes may be the best thing happening to me lately! Ahh, who am i kidding !??? I can't write anymore. I have a huge bet on Sweden and the ball doesn't want to go in. Sweden can't score even without Zlatan ![]()

I still say when it comes to the end they will be in Serie "A". What about, was it Roma who was relegated then brought back up ? It's too much money lost for the league not just Juventus themselves.
Tony I too have recently quit smoking so I feel your pain. Although I know it is the best thing for me.....what the heck is with all the eating ! ...lol |

Well, all Juve sponsors announced they'll stay in Juve even if Juve falls in B, while SKY network announced they'll broadcast every Juve game even in Serie B.
I found a nice quote connected with this last info about SKY network: If Juventus goes to serie B more people will be watching serie B than serie A. And Napoli-Juve will be The Match of the year in Italy because these clubs have more supporters than all the other clubs together. One question ( for the Italians mostly): Why Juve has much more supporters in Italy than all the other clubs ? Also in the world...? If i'm not wrong, some 5 years ago Juve was the team with most supporters in the world. Man Utd took the primat afterwards, but Juventus.com is still the most visited club page. I became a Juve fan somewhere in 1995, but i addmit i wouldn't have become one in 1999 or in 2000's, because there were too many talks about Juve and their dirty games. What i can't understand is why Juve was gaining more and more supporters, eventhough there were so many fixed games talks ? Why does Italy , and the world, love Juve more than Inter, or Milan or Roma etc ? P.S : The answer "There are more stupid people than smart ones" is not acceptable ![]()

if you check the situation outside italy, AC Milan is one of the most supported club in the world outside of italy because of the soccer they played in the UCL. AC Milan together with real madrid and man u have always been one of the most supported sides i the world. i got nothing against juve fans unless they slander Milan with stupid accusations. I hate juve because of the unfair advantage they always get with the refs. I hate juve players for the lousy soccer they played, the lack of motivation in the UCL against strong opposition. |

Because people love winners, and do not care so much about how they become winners. Juventus ALWAYS played dirty games, and almost every italian team first or then had something to complain about it. When Milan was relegated because of "Calcioscommesse" scandal, also some Juventus player were involved, but Agnelli family power prevented Juve from being relegated. And the worst thing is that they still speak about Juve Style. Anyway, very little supporters go to stadium to attend Juventus matches, and when Delle Alpi is full of people you may be sure it's because there's Torino playing. ![]()

Yep, i know most of the fans of every big club are just gloryhunters, but they can cheer for Milan also, why mostly Juventus ?
It is not a provokative question, i was asking this question myself, and that's why i wanted to see what do the Italians think. And i guess Juve does have more fans outside Italy than Milan ( that is, if we believe what do newspapers write every single year about the rankings of big clubs). The latest rankings i've seen, it was Man Utd in front of Juve and Real, while Milan was far behind, and even some South American club had more supporters than Milan. I know that most of it is gloryhunting. for example, Man Utd got many supporters in 1999, Juve got many supporters during 1996-1998 period, Milan got them in late 80's early 90's, but what i can't understand is how can in such a sport country as Italy, the difference in number of Juve fans vs Milan fans be so huge ? And if it's gloryhunting only...how come Inter has more supporters than Milan in Italy ? My call is the tradition. Before Berlu took over, it was Juve and Inter who were the main powers in Italy, and Italians were divided between these 2 clubs. Maybe this explain why Milan is on 3rd, maybe even 4th place in Italy !

Intresting observations Tony 29, and I trust someone will source the most recent data to confirm/rebutt your numbers/rankings.
At least I hope so.. ![]()
