Anyways, maybe they'll sack Benitez? There's been some tension for a while now, and results has certainly not come Liverpools way.
I wouldn't mind Benitez becoming our coach. I would hire not because of his coaching credentials (and I my opinion is contrary to that) but because he is very good at fighting with the owners to get the players he wants.

Well anyway, Berlu will never let him become our coach.

The thing is, RB actually is a pretty good coach, and I doubt he wants to be the puppet coach of Milan.

that would be huge. i have only seen him once so i can't judge him but barca fans wanted him for some time and only because of his huge price tag he did not move to barca past summer. btw he has a european passport so we would not even lose a non-eu spot.

i just can't see the current milan buy such a player for 15-20 mio, which he surely would cost.

we badly need new quality players in january to save our season and maybe reach place 5 or 6 for international qualification. Filipe and Rafinha would really be a huge step in the right direction.

Sound it bit far fetched Milan would get both Felipe and Rafinha i don't think either of them have a EU passport and there simply isn't the cash available to sign both of them. i would prefer that Milan brought Addy and Motta

I kno I run the risk of raising the ire of the Italian members here...but I feel too strongly about this not to comment:

Tassotti and Zambrotta are, (according to football-italia.com) advocating for Nesta's return to the nazionale....are they out of their minds?

Do they know something I don't about his replacement for [b]AC Milan[\B] the club that pays them their wages, in the event (God forbid) that he re-aggravates his back injury?

I am all for the success of the Italian national team, (as I support them as my 1st team in European international competition and they are my 2nd team behind Argentina at the World Cup)....yet there I no team I place above Milan.

He cannot play for both teams, IMO, without running the risk of his back acting up again...its as if these two don't see that its his football career that's at stake.

Hopefully playing an extra 15 or so matches wont destroy his back. I would actually tack Nesta and leave Canna. Canna is not the same player he once was at all

la squadra is my favourite team too but i think nesta rejoining them is ok but only if it is for the time of the world cup and the immediate preparation before. qualifiers are over and nesta should not play any friendlies as he knows all the players, the coach and the environment of the national setup.

basically he would only miss some time of the summer holidays which is acceptable i think.

i son't see it happening anyway. why would nesta want to return? he already won the world cup and the current team is far from a title contender anyway. i guess maldini will also advise him not to come out of international retirement.

Personally, I think Lippi should start looking for younger players instead of trying to re-call Nesta and Totti to the World Cup.
Cassano can more than do the job of Totti.
While guys like Santacroce, Crisito and Bochetti might not be Nesta's level, but with players like Chellini and Canna, they are pretty solid. On top of that, Italy's problem is not so much their CB pairings but rather their movement in midfield and scoring upfront.

what does Antonini need to do to get a shot? I think our best formation right now is a 4-4-2 with -

------------Stoari--------
-Antonini-Nesta-Silva-Zambro/Favali-
--Abate-Flamini-Pirlo-Janks--
----Pato----------Huntelaar----

Antonini is not playing is simply due to contracts talk.
As Milan wants to pay him a lot less than what he is asking.

Good lineup, and cannot agree with you more. But I would have put Di Natalie and Amauri there, though.

i strongly considered both. When i update it, if Acquafresca hasnt impressed one of that pair will probably take his place
