and on Tuesday Bolivia drew with Uruguay ....I was hoping that after beating Peru on Sunday we were going to beat Uruguay too....oh well.....as things look now, we better start thinking in the 2010 World Cup....the current team's displays are not worth a World Cup qualification.

In second half espaņoles stated to push us, but our defence was supreme. We also had some great opportunities to score. Last minute referee made some contraversial decisions but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saved us.

yeah I saw it, rae.. added time was very stressing. and ur GK was brilliant.
if Lithuania got any sharper strikers then IMO they could have beaten the spaniards.

btw, I was bored watching Latin's qualifiers. They usually played great against European teams but they sucks when they play against their neighbours.

Agro, have u seen me
My friend said that before the match I was cought by one of cameras for more than 5 seconds
Yep, if Deividas Cesnauskis and Robertas Poskus could play and Edgaras Jankauskas had both ''legs'' we had beaten them...

Sorry for that Carlos, I hope you and your team will recover during this qualification round...

oh man last week was just a horrible week personally... but concerning the NT it couldnt get anymore annoying

ok here how it goes, were tied with iran at the top of the group at 12 points but iran so far woill qualify if this trend continues because we beat them 0-1 in tehran but they beat us in amman 0-2 and only 1 team goes thru... we finish a poor game against laos 2-3 winners after a comeback, definatly not worth going to the WC in germany, but ive seen better performances, much better... alot now depends on the other game between iran and 3rd placed qatar in doha where qatar must win to remain in contention... it starts off bad where iran score first, but later qatar equalize in the 74th minute and while i was checking out the games on lievscore i call my friend and tell him all is great, but i feel even better when i hear the news that qatar scored another in the 77th minute, while i was on the phone... so i was goin loco!!! ... but later iran pressure and manage to score the equalizer, still things going our way, this way qatar (whom we face the last macth in doha) would be out and we would be in 1st place 2 points ahead of iran... but... in the ****ing 90th minute... that SOB from bayern munich hashemian scored a tap in... what the **** was the defgence doing?!!!!!!???!?!??!?! i felt like killing some1... oh man.... that was the best way to end of such a **** week... can u believe that??? now we face qatar in doha while iran host 'laos' in tehran... i mean... i never felt this bad about a game since italy lost the euro 2000 final against france...

talk about bad luck!

that's not always true....if you watched only Wednesday's qualifiers games then u might get this idea, but it just happens that Wednesday matchday was the suckiest of all 10 matchdays played until now by far. But take Sunday's matches for example, there were some good ones, like Argentina 4 - 2 Uruguay, or Venezuela 2 - 5 Brazil...anyway, in earlier matchdays we have seen some great games already....for me our qualifiers are the most exciting in the world, all teams play good football and everyone is in with a chance to qualify....for example, Bolivia is currently last in the standings, still only 3 points away from a qualifying spot

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
I haven't really been following the qualifiers this past week.

All I know is England won both matches and Italy lost and won.

Italy need to pull their socks up if they intend to not be embarassed at the next WC, although I guess they have time on their side.

maybe that's not always true, Carlos.. but personally I couldn't enjoy the game itself, as all teams played with similar characters. tho I admit that most latin's players are great and skillful.

I'm looking forward to witnessing the WC finals instead.
