I agree with some things you say Jim, but not all. Yeah we definately need a pacey player, but not in midfield. Id like to see a pacey striker as Shev's partner. It just seems as if Sheva drags the defence around while our other strikers practically have to wait for a chance to come their way.

As far as replacing Pirlo goes, there are two options. Either replace him with "like to like" or adjust the system. In my opinion we cant replace Pirlo unless we persuade Xavi from Barca to play twice a year for us. Pirlo himself has taken much time to grow and learn in his position. Its easy when you play regular football. But we cant expect a Pizzaro to come and turn it on once every two months. That would be as unfair as expecting Pirlo to come back into the team after a long injury and play the way he does. Yes we always suffer when hes unavailable, but we only ever seem to try someone in his role. We should definately imploy different tactics when hes out.

If the rumours are to be believed then Milan will sign Gilardino, Jankulovski, a midfielder and a right back. If the last two signings turn out to be half decent then Id be happy. Jankulovski is like 2 signings because he can and will play at left back and also left wing. I must admit though Id like to see a lightning fast striker come.

Well, Im not saying that carlo is not a good coach, he has proven he can win things. And has made a real player out of pirlo. But...you cant alway defend him as our performance against PSV was clearly poor becouse of some carlos faults. The team is tired, its true, but in MY oppinion Carlo hasnt got 100% of Milans potential as capello did with juve. Carlo is still young coach and it can be seen that he is still improving, we need to change the formation sometimes like juve does and make more rotation in squad. Anyway CArlo is ok, a good critic is positive sometimes. And you must admit he can get it really wrong sometimes...

JANKULOVSKY can be very useful to us as he can play as a LB or as a LM or even at kaka's position sometimes. Seedorf can get some rest as he can have really bad periods of his game.
GILARDINO...I adore this man, he will be new striking force in the world, if we get him we'll score a lot vith kaka-sheva- gila.
ODDO- would be a great thing as he is a milan boy and is free in the end of the seasson. He is relatively fast and can attack and cross well.Get him.
As for midlield we can strill use rui, ambro, dhorasso and now janku. JUST NOT BROCCHI!!! We need to learn how to change formation more often and attack on the flanks against some teams that are only defending ( did so against parma and chievo )

I think some of these new players would get alot more opportunities than we think. Personally i would play Jankulovski at first choice left-back, he has the pace, skill and energy to go up and down the wing and defend. I would stop playing Maldini there, he should stay in the middle as he doesn't have the pace to keep up with the faster wingers.

As for Pizzaro, he's been getting good reviews this season, he's influenced Udinese as much as Pirlo influences us. Maybe not in exactly the same way, but with enough similarities. Like you said K77SH C, you can't replace Pirlo, but we shouldn't be looking to anyway. We're looking to expand our options and Pizzaro would surely do this. As said before Pizzaro can play in Seedorf's role too so he would play alot more than just a handful of games.

I know it's scary to have new players in the team as you never know how they'll fit in, but it has to happen sooner or later and i think we have to have confidence and trust in any new guys to keep Milan's game right at the top.

what? no

What the?....Pirlo hasn't been rumoured to leave Milan, nor has anyone on the forum suggested he would leave.

Actually, why are we even discussing it, I mean, he's argubly the last player to leave Milan at the moment.

Could someone please give a description of Jankalovski. I havent had much of a chance to see him and when I have hes either not really involved in the game or he scores an own goal against Milan Is he a left back that goes forward alot, whats his crossing like, dribbling, passing, ball control. Iv always heard how good he is, but could someone give anything more please. Im struggling to get excited about a future player I know little about
