Maybe the reason for wanting trez is nothing to do with Seedorf
Seedorf is great but he is getting older. The fact that we are still going to have to qualify for the champions league, and play the additional tournaments because we won the champions league, may be to much for Seedorf to play all of that. With the fact that our midfielders are older this would give us insurance and allow us to rest them with a quality guy like trez. I am sure they have talked with Seedorf and the others about adding another great midfielder to the group.

Trezeguet is a great stricker and can useful for MIlan or any other team ,however, its almost impossiable that Juve will let him go he is their top forgien goal scorer(I think) and they did not let him go last year despite that he did not want to stay so there is no reason now to sell him

actually, it's almost 100% certain that Trez will leave Juve given that his contract expires in a year and he publically made a disrespecting gesture towards the current management after they had made, what is beleived, an unacceptable offer for contract renewal with not only not improving his salary but actually decreasing it compared to his current terms, whihc offended Trez.
It seems that the management has already decided the players future - away from Turin - and they simply made him an offer they knew there was no way he would accept ... they basically washed their hands with him and made it look as if he is the one who wants out and basically put all the blame on him should his replacement turn out to be flop and the fans start protesting. So, Trez is virtually history for Juve, the question is would they consider selling him to milan, provided we want him at all, given that they already said categorically "no" to a possible move of his to Inter.

The categorical No is for all Italian clubs, Gigli made it clear. Check the Italian interview with him.
But i couldn't care less. I still can't get over Trez departure so i'll stay out from the Internet in next day or two until i calm down. ![]() ![]()

I really doubt Trez would come here just to be backup. Unless he's the *big striker* who we're planning to buy, which most likely he isn't. IMO our striker force next year will be: Ronaldo, Gila, Pippo, New striker. When Pippo retires we'll bring Pozzi back.

Trez would be a great option! He's proven, almost thirty (that's almost always the inclusion criteria for Milan these days
), and needs a new challenge. The guy is virtually a guarantee for goals. Would be great if we could get rid of RO and get Trez instead. As for Juve being able to dictate where he goes, there is only so much they can do. He's got a year left on his deal, if they dont sell him now, they will wind up with an unhappy, unmotivated player for a year, who then leaves on a free. It the end, it depends on teh player, if the player makes it clear that he will only consider options from such and such club, then I think Juve have no choice but to comply |

According to Trezeguet's words, he wants to stay in Juve but the team wants him out (i still can't believe they are so stupid). So, its not the same case as it was with Vieira and Ibrahimovic where Juve had no choice but to sell them to Inter. This time Juve can chose where to sell him and eventhough it will have to be done with Trez's agreement, i don't think Trez will refuse to join an English, Spanish or French giant. Juve's BOD were clear when they said Italian teams are not an option for Trez (although i think they may change their mind if an exchange deal with Gilardino or Adriano takes place) and according to Trezeguet's agent Barcelona and Arsenal are an option in case Henry or Eto'o leave while Valencia, Manchester United and Lyon are also after Trezeguet. Trezeguet's says he wants to stay with Juve, and after 7 years with the team i don't think his choice will be Milan, or Inter. If he leaves it will be a Shevchenko like departure - going abroad !

First and foremost, I hate to say this but I have to touch my heart
and admit that Trez is the 2nd Best Foreign Goal Scorer this Decade in Serie' A next to Sheva ( His goal scoring record for Juve says so! ) He would Undoubtedly put RO GILA Borrielo through Goal Scoring School in the training Sessions IF he does come to Milan. No doubt about that. But after more than Half a decade in Juve, I seriously doubt he could ever play for another Serie'A Club. Hard to say though ( I thought the same thing with Batistuta going Roma ) A player of his calibre will undoubtedly improve Milan as a squad but I simply cant see him playing 2nd fiddle to the likes of the incompetent Gila & Oliveira but he is more or less the finished article and may not improve much ability wise except for consistency while RO & Gila have a lot of undeveloped potential. All said and done, I would really love to see him play for Milan Only IF he wants to stay in Italy but IMHO, I can see him going to Arsenal due to the French Connections at the Emirates Stadium

I hear you Tony, but last I heard, it was Trez that made a gesture to the Juve management after scoring what might be his final goal for Juve. As for who wants who out, well who knows? Trez claims that Juve are disrespecting him by not offering him a good contract, so he wants out. Juve may say that Trez does not honour wearing the Juve shirt and refused to sign the extension.
Either way, the point is if he does not sign an extension, then Juve would be stupid not to sell him. Where he goes to will not just depend on the club, but also on Trez. If Galliani, Braida, et al can work their magic on him and convince him that Milan is his best option, and Trez requests a transfer to Milan, then what choice does Juve have? If they dont let him go, he signs for Milan for free next year----it's all hypothetical of course. |
