I doubt it would go that far. recently there were similar case with players in spain and Italy too, I think and matters were always resolved with some penalty fees being paid but no suspensions for one year of something of the kind.

plus, Inter are culprits here too so it's hardly in their interest to go far in this matter, given that they had a player sign a contract without the permission of his club. they could claim all they want that Cagliari gave them a green light but in the end the only thing that matters is pen on paper and if they had that, Suazo now would have been offically theirs.

if there is any wrong doing here, I think Inter are also part of it by jumping over the rules and that should keep their mouths shut, at least when it comes to legal or illegal matters concerning this transfer.

Moratti is always such a crying baby. When Inter stole Ibra in front of our noses, Galliani didnt say such things, aldough it was obvious Milan was outplayed on mercato then. Moratti- you lost, now go and take care my firend...

Maybe Sheva? Well...If he begs Maldini , Gattuso and Seedorf enough...buys them expencive presents, neels in front of Curva and leaves his traitoric *****-wife!

And then, out of nowhere, from disrupted dressing room of FCB, comes Zambrotta running towards Milanello with documents just to sign!!

guys, I think there is a dif here - I believe in those cases, the player himself first signed with one club then with another but in both cases the club, that owned the player, had NOT reached an agreement or authorized him to do so for any other clubs ... basically, it was a case of the player signing two dif contracts behind the back of the club owning his rights. In that case, both clubs have equally valid pretentions towards the player as they have his siggy and they both can reach an greement with the club-owner, while he can play for only one, not both.

Here Milan has not done that with Suazo, we directly closed the deal with Cagliari, the club owning the player, who before that had come very close to finishing things up with Inter but it didn't happen for one reason or another.

Quite right. Inter have no case here notwithstanding their bluster.

They had no case last year with Calciopoli also. The tapes that were presented to the media , with Meani's voice were enough for a penalty fee, and yet Milan almost missed on CL because of that.
Don't take this lightly because there can be consequences, imo.
The cu~tface Moratti should shut up and accept he's been beaten fair and sqare, but since he obviously won't do such a thing, i would stay prepared for some @#%## to happen with Suazo !

we shoudln't also overestimate Inter and Moratti's power - last year was a great opptunity where everything clicked right and they took advantage of it but that doesn't mean Inter have control over what happens now in LaLega or Serie A nor are they writing the laws.

Milan should be as careful as any other team when it's a question of overstepping legal boundaries and I am sure they have good enough lawyers who would make sure of that ... other than that, Moratti can be a Moratti as much as he wants.

Alright, Galliani said there might be a chance that Suazo does not want to play for us. So this isn't official yet, and im worried of the consequences and sanctions we might face if we indeed are doing something that is wrong.

Galliani once said "we need a midfielder and a striker" then he said "we're gettin a defender and midfielder" and now after signing such a mediocre/average player he's saying "we aint in the market" ?? strange but i hope he's lieing.. i for one would be unbelievably annoyed if we had anything less than amazing transfer campaign after last years utter failure.

I'm quite surprised we signed him after he 'went' to Inter. He'd be a good replacement for Borriello/Gila, not sure if the £8/£10 million is a good sum to pay. If he carries on his form of the last two season I'll be happy - hopefully more signing will come to help our squad in all areas.

What's Milan going to get punished for? Hashing out an agreement with Cagliari?

But maybe that's a crime now in post-Guido Rossi Italy.
