seems that it was an accident by the police that killed the lazio supporter...Juve Vs Lazio supporters, they are not even playing against each other today...ultras are the same in all continents, people with nothing so they got nothing to lose

The other matches keep on going. Why is this problem only happening in atalanta - milan match? I thought the ultras are on strike to demand investigation of the deeath of Lazio suporter. shouldn't they be doing it across all matches then?

This match was halted after just eight minutes when Atalanta fans threatened to riot if play continued despite the death earlier today of a Lazio supporter.

There were brawls outside the stadium before kick-off after news came through that a Lazio fan had been accidentally killed by a police officer's bullet. The tension inside the arena was sky-high, as both sets of supporters repeatedly urged the players to leave the pitch and call off the game, going so far as to throw objects on to the field and try to smash down the plexiglass dividers. Atalanta players appealed to their fans to stop, but they were determined to stop play at all costs.

Atalanta are the same cuddly right-wing thugs as Lazio. I am very sorry for this dude, but I am even sadder for the state of Italian football--even if this was outside the stadium etc.

Italian football with their ultra culture are stuck in the stone age. People should go to the stadium--a nice, pleasant stadium--to watch a game, not fear for their lives. Italian football is already tottering at the administration level, and this may well push it over. Sad really that a country which is the World Champion, European Champion, has a golden boot winner, and is probably going to have a FIFA WPOTY and Golden Ball winner, has such an anachronistic and ugly fan culture.

And it's even more gratifying to know that our fans were involved in the protest.
