great game by Milan in the first half.

OVerall everydepartment is doing well, except that Goal. Pato has to be more active; his first touch today is letting him down. He should be fine.

Kaka` is doing fine, so is Gilardino. Kaka - Pato - Gilardino looks like a great pair.

gattuso: Virtually disappear. Ambrosini is the MOM so far, and Pirlo is getting into the game further and further.

Oddo is on form, so does Janku! Bonera and Kaladze doing fine.

Kalac has nothing to do.

Good first half. Oddo horrible crossing, he had one good cross and set up the goal, one of those his deep crosses. Janku played well for me in this half, full of running. Lets gun them pink ladies down. FORZAAAA MILAN !!!!!!!!!!111

I'd like to see Emerson come in to replace Gattuso. We must risk more as we need 3 points. While Palermo lead, our attitude was very good, we kept attacking. This is what we have to do to win this game, I think.

Lol Jeff, same match, but 2 different visions: i don't think Kaka' has done well in the 1st half, like Pato too. Gila tried some things but is not very good too.

I'm impatient to see Kaka' back to his level !! I really wonder when it comes ...

Pato being all over the pitch, but how many times has he been really effective in the build up? His first touch today is overall poor. (I'm not saying he is not good; he can beat man by man better than GIlardino; I'm just saying that he is not his usual self).

Gilardino is not all over the pitch, nor does he need to. He is no Shevchenko or Pato in his role; hie role is to hold the ball up so that Milan can go forward; instead of just some aimless passing at the back. To me he has done it very well today.

BTW, he got a penalty appeal failed, which is a clear handball, three offsides that he could have done better, two occasions when he held the ball on the left (remember 3 players came to him nd he still managed to push the ball forward, only that Pato lost it in a 1 on 1?)

And he got corner.

I just don't see how you guys judge strikers. Pato and GIlardino played such a different role that people use the same judgment to judge them.

I wasn't impressed with Kaka either, neither Gilardino. Pato has done well so far but our best player so far is Ambrosini. Bonera has been ok but he's no Nesta in the middle. Pirlo is playing too deep to be effective.

Pato looses too many balls by trying to dribble 3-4 opponents at the same time lol !!
For Gila, I'd say like Jeff but he didn't arrive to receive good balls (not only his fault) and didn"t arrive to give good balls too.

I agree; we are seeing a half-filled and half-empty water.

So why the hell will people think that Pato being all over the pitch is better than Gilardino when both play poor?

Alright, I should stay away from this. I don't want to be seen as a gila-fan. It's just be objective and see things a little bit differently. When I say a player play poorly I'll also ask myself, is there something he did well? When someone did well, I also ask myself what he could do better. ANyway...

ON the other hand, AMauri proves to be a great player and I hope to have him here (though I prefer Benzama).

Yes Pato touch was at times poor in the first half, but I'm sure he will improve in the second half.

Please dont say Amauri is class, I still cant see it. Flicking the ball with his back heel doesnt mean he is World Class. Bresciano did the same thing but the commentator didnt yell nor make a big deal of it like he does when Amauri does something simple.
