classic milan, no need to comment precisely. defended deep, never pressed, ambro should have been sent off on foul on Diego ( as well as vs merda ), flamini showed he is our best dm that never plays, we made subs after they equalised... tragicomical.

Cant argue with the outcome...we scored, Pippo had a good goal dissallowed incorrectly...and he hit the bar, when he should have scored.

No injuries (hopefully), only a minor embarassment...Carlo playing with an eye on the game Sunday next.

Wont complain. I am good with this...plus we have an away goal..which counts right?

This match told the same old story: We have a **** defence. We -might- win the UEFA Cup with these defenders, but we won't get near the Scudetto or the Champions League trophy anytime soon unless there are some major changes. The thing is that the rest of the team is totally fine (though we have some injuries to deal with), and with more stability at the back, we would probably still be the dominant team in Italy and Europe.

Next season should be different though, with Thiago Silva and Daniel Agger in central defence.

We conceded the same kind of goal as we did against Inter.

1. First the header was lost right on the edge of the box.
2. Pirlo is tracking Diego back up until our box and the let's him go.
3. Ambrosini is also late to react to the Diego run.
3. ONE Diego....TWO Milan players (Pirlo, Ambro)....and neither of them picks up the run.
4. These 3 points result in a goal up our a$s.

Our defenders are dominated every game they face a physical forward. And its not as if they are not physical themselves (Kaladze, Senderos).............they are just as big and physical as the forwards, it's just that they are not good enough.

What pisses me off is that we see mistakes like these over and over again. We suffer goals in the last 5 minutes over and over again and we lose points in the league because of that. Carlo keeps holding the subs untill the last 15 mins for some freakin reason that is unknown to any of us.....over and over again. People make mistakes and that's fine, but usually we should learn from our mistakes and not repeat them. It's just unbeliavable.

What pisses me off is that we can't close a game. Not the result....because it's not a bad score line, 1-1 away from home in a tough ground like Werder's.

Like Mrki said before...............Where is the Milan that scores a goal and then not even god can score on us.

It really showed again that we need some power in the air, in defence. It's always been a problem for us. And our defending of corners is not worthy of Milan. The first corner of the match ended in a 100% oportunity for Werder Bremen, and every time a high ball comes into the area it's dangerous.

Well despite all the negatives, the setup for the shot that Pippo send on the post was pretty amazing, 3 first time passes in a row, over long distances.
