Maybe would you have prefered that Inzaghi scored one more goal but got an injury, and this way, depending on the situation with Pato, the only available striker would have been Shevchenko ?? |

Sorry Geotav, I didn't aware of Pato's condition. I thought (crazy tought actually, maybe coz I was sleepy when I watch the match) Ronnie replacing Pato have something to do with Dunga presence
. Given the condition, I agree with you. In that case, is there any striker from our primavera squad that can be used? Atleast they have the will to run and score rather than just making small run. Did u see Kaka's backheel to sheva? If Pato, Inzaghi, or even Flamini was in sheva's place, they would try to run and have a shot, or atleast try catch the ball. What did Sheva do? just watched the ball... Don't mean to insult, but he looks like an old Lion trying to get back to his herd, but already lost all his power and ability... |

But yeh i reckon if it was Inzaghi he would have may be put himself in a better position to get on it. To be honest though it looked more like a shot attempt than a pass |

Agree with Mordicai here.
Flamini is great today; though I 'll still want to see how he does against stronger opponents... He is pretty attack minded though I must say; every time when Beckham gets the ball, he is running up to give him more space. |

Flamini is great and I do agree with Jeff about Flamini running up alot. However, I think against stronger teams, Flamini will not attack as much as today, as he is smart enough to make judgements.
The Good: Beckham, Pippo and Kaka were awesome. Ambro fighting for a contract was great. Zambro and Pato did well too. Cap is solid and surprisingly Senderous was quite comfortable, then again, maybe b/c of the scoreline. I really hope Carlo and Galli will not sign Senderous as he is completely useless. Great to see Darmian getting more than 3 secs of the game like Vuidez, oh I meant 5 secs.(A joke btw) The bad: Pirlo, where was Pirlo last night? I am a strong believer that Pirlo is a great player and if his team is making runs, he will be the best player in the world as his passes can find them. That player turned out to be Beckham? Esp when Dinho came on, Pirlo was just on the field. Which came back to something I notice since our first game of the season. Pirlo, Dinho, Seedorf(now Beckham) cannot be on the same field as they all need distribute the ball to be effective. The Ugly: Mattioni is no where to be found? This to me is interesting, if he is hurt, fine. But if he is not, how come he is not playing? AS he is the natural RB. Also, Juve wants him more than we did and if Juve wants someone, they are actually not bad. Wait a minute, that was during Moggi, Secco sucks, so maybe Mattioni is not as good as we think. Sheva, it was sad to see Sheva plays, I think he should retire or head to small leagues. The Best of the Best: The atmosphere was awesome at San Siro and the fans really enjoyed it. My question is, do you think they enjoyed the match more or Seedorf being bench more? MY vote goes to Seedorf being bench. Its funny how without Seedorf, we can manage to win in style. You see how Galli, Carlo and others point to injury as a problem for Milan not being first, well, I beg the different, as I believe if Seedorf is out injured since the beginning of the season like Nesta, we might actually be in first. |

I have no idea why we pointlessly signed Mattioni in the first place. Probably a move by B&G to sucker the fans into believing this was the beginning of some youth movement.

Our defense on the flanks seem a lot safer with Flam and Zamb,Abate and Rosina couldn't work the flanks like they usually do.
Perhaps push Jank up to midfield from now on... the only problem is that Flamini has a record for coming out and expressing how much he hates playing there lol...in his Arsenal days |

We didnt sign MAttioni, he is here and we can sign him if we want...which we dont look like doing
People say he did pretty good with Gremio but...Carlo: " Flamini is a surprise..." Its like when he saked:"which role does Modric play?" LOL! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seriousely now: We did brilliantly and Carlo did everything right last night. Only sad thing is that we play like this 3 times per year and fight like this 2 times per year. Flamini is the main topic? We all saw that he did great as a RB in round 1 if you can remember. He did well when he was younger at Arsenal as a LB. And he can play well in 3 or 4 midfield roles. Against closed teams Flamini is a perfect fullback coz he has EXTREME running capacity and he made like 50 sprint runs for about 70m down his flank to open up the space or to close the space. Nor MArek nor Zambro are able to close the space so fast. Practically we played 3-4-3 most of the game. For me Flamini is not a surprise and last year he was one of the best CM's in Europe. He will grow if he is given a fair chance and will show he is a superb player that can play in any team. Then Beckham: I have already apologisd to him on forums like 10 times and I need to do again. I have never expected such passion and fight from him. How is it ŽEVER possible to play Seedorf instead of this man is beyond me... He played brilliantly, fought well and extremly hard, assisted for 2 goals, one dissalowed and penalty on Ambro. Next year Beckham WILL come back to Milan and will play CL with us, it will be a nice mix in the midfield with him and Gourcuff, Gattuso etc... Its good to use him when he is 100% fit, then he can play at high tempo like yesterday for 90min. Pippo - no need to describe. Its is Superpippo. Woh old is he FOR REAL? 23, 24???? First goal that was called offside was simply masterpiece! Pirlo - Im not impressed and it is obvious he is declining like Seedorf started 3 years ago. We'll see some great games from Pirlo, yes, but Pirlo is not on the same running level as before. He did well, but yesterday he ahd players flying around him. Pato, KAka', AMBRO, Zambro all did well. etc.,etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------- But after all of this its sad to see that Milan plays 3 games per year and the rest is pure crap. If we won some simple games we already had in our pockets it would have been -3,4 points now, not 10. forza Milan and lets clean the squad for next year and start playing like this finnally!

What a great game!
Men of the match; b32,flamini,pippo.I'm so impressed by b32,his comprehension of the game is ever growing with age, maybe he can play to 40s like our captain. Sendros is quite solid in recent games. kaka was in bad form until the very end he scored on penalty. How did mattioni not get a chance on the court when we still had a substituion to go? seems he doesn't impress our coach staff, maybe we should play flamini at RB ever after.

the main factor we played so well today I believe is - having our fullbacks run at the opponents consistently (Flamini was great)..and Beckham - a tireless runner who was all over the pitch. The only bad part about today was Pirlo.
If this is not a clear indication to Carlo that Seedorf must not start anymore, I dont know what will be. I've also seen enough of Janku, who is an average full back at best. Ambro had a good performance today but I'm afraid it is time to rejuvenate the squad and we cannot keep renewing contracts of the older class of players. Next week we have a hot-in-form Palermo team. |

Yes, we will be at home again against Palermo, if my memory serves me right as we lost 3-1 to them before the X'mas.

Flamini has been positioned in a place by Ancelotti that Wenger also did with success. It was a big desire of mine when he first arrived that Ancelotti would give it a chance. I'm very happy and satisfied that it was a success.
Many people have argued that Ancelotti has made many bad decisions. Here is a fine example of the brilliance in his tactics that you are basically missing to point out. Ancelotti is a fine and very good coach who sees a lot of good things on the pitch. We have won a very important victory. Everything is important. It is crucial that we put up a good face in the last games. I really hope we can all enjoy good days in the last days of this summer. Forza Milan |
