Gattuso was FANTASTIC!!!
But thats not a good sign, Our attackers are terrible today. Zlatan has been the worst on the field, ronaldinho is also terrible but with a few nice moments and Robinho is lively and is trying. I'm not too hard on him as this is only his first real game for us.

We can praise ourselves lucky we arent loosing, that header in the last minute and that ball against the woodwork...

we have no creative forse today, yes with all those players in,and we cannot create a single situation..its sad seeing that allegri is not working properly with the team..
till now he has done absolutely nothing new,nth classy..

First Half Highlights:

* Gattuso running like a Mad Man... showing great energy. While I respect his passion, and even admit sometimes he can send a great ball, and make a neat pass, is that who we want to be playing ACM... sometimes he's getting in the way of R80, Robinho up top.. and he was put clean through twice and can't finish (expected). I wish we had someone else to make runs..

* Boateng was very upset first 15 minutes as he was making great runs and never getting the pass. He was screaming at his teammates and since has been very quiet, not making runs in final third anymore.

* Pirlo made a few nice chips but pretty predictable and a bit sloppy losing the ball sometimes

* Abate has not been able to get forward

* Nesta made two or three saves that were UNREAL

* Ibra- R80- R70 NOT showing good chemistry. Ronaldinho just looks sh*t to me. Standing at the Side line and when he gets the ball he stands on it for 5 seconds. Move. try to beat a defender, make a 1-2 pass give and go. DO SOMETHING you buck teethed idiot...

Let's see what happens in 2nd Half...

A sure sign of insanity or plain stupidity, is to do the same thing every time, and expect a different outcome.

Allegri needs to realize that the formation + player selection he is fielding, is not working, and as such, should be changed.

He however may just be the one that needs to be changed!!

Half time and two things come to mind

1) Robinho definitely fits with us, but he lacks fitness. He has no problems dribbling and keeping the ball from being robbed sort of like how Kaka used to for us, and I actually feel a lot better when he has the ball at his feet than 'Dinho today. Second thing, the guy knows when to dribble and when to play one-touch, which apart from Boateng and "Period" Rino we seem to be lacking all over the place (Antonini was nervous, our whole left side wasn't really working out attack-wise). With him making runs, theres always someone on him and that pulls one more man off of Ibra and Dinho..... now if only those two would actually exploit the spaces left....

2.) I don't give a damn how much money we have to bid, we have to fully buy out Prince's contract from Genoa once the season ends. Damnit I haven't seen our midfield so lively and so comfortable on the ball in ages!


That said, I say sub Pirlo off, his passing apart from the last 5-7 minutes of the half were horriffic and horribly measured. He's even got a yellow so we have an excuse now. Try Seedorf there, or better yet, play Flams and have a wall in midfield so that we can attack with no worries :P

Yea unfortunately we all agree at this point. Hopefully Berlusconi's quote that "Ronaldinho is here for LIFE" is just to make his transfer fee a little higher when they sell him in January. He's B-A-D....At this point I wouldn't mind Seedorf on for Ronaldinho..

Gattuso had a great first half. The three forwards were isolated from each other and from the midfielders. Something needs to be done to address that issue otherwise the only hope of us getting a win or a goal could only be through their individual heroism.

we depend too much on dinho's mood, we re expecting 1-2 gr8 moves from him so as to get a chance to score..pathetic

What is obvious about Milan is two things for me:

First, if Pirlo is the only creative force in midfield, i.e. no Seedorf (on form) or if Boateng doesn't put forth the attacking abilities we've seen glimpses of, then it is very easy to stifle this team.

Second, our attack literally has no chemistry. It's bad. But, if you think about the fact that we haven't had one consistent attacking line this entire year, its no surprise.

But I think this formation isn't the problem, its just that without a balanced attack, the whole system falls apart, and I think that's clearly very obvious.

I cant believe I have Dinho in fantasy linaup for today! Well maybe some penalty will appear!

Robinho did well, but is VERY unfit.

Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Im a calcio supporter. Which means a football fan... But football is a sport where you fight, run, pass, run again, go into duels, get injured, play with heart and bravery etc. I havent seen football players in Milan shirt today except for Gattuso!

Ryo, I agree with subbing Pirlo, but for Flamini rather than Seedorf, as we need industry and grit now more than a player sure to slow the game down more.

Ibra though, always has 2 defenders on him, so he isn't getting the space/time on the ball he needs....and R80 is stinking up the joint, and needs to come off....move Robinho behind the forwards, and put on Pippo for Ronaldinho would b my other change.

Gattuso is great today. The only player playing with enthusiasm and aggression.

Is Ibrahimovic ill? He contributes with nothing and is a huge disappointment together with most of the other players as well. He's run around 500 m in the 1st half.

I think our performance can't get any worse than this in the 2nd half. Hopefully Allegri can get our players to run and play for each other and not only for themselves. If not, it's bye bye pretty soon.

Only have Thiago Silva, I think, and I'm not even sure I kept him !!
