Personally I'm not a huge fan of Huntelaar (though he has a very impressive record, I am not totally convinced by his game) and more importantly I don't think he'll fit our team as well as Gomez, and would more likely end up like Gila (struggling without the service needed).

If we could sell Gila, Boriello and Ricardo Oliviera for decent prices, it wouldn't be unrealistic to bring Berbatov and Gomez. I dont think Gomez will cost huge of money.

Pato, Gomez, Berbatov as main strikers with Inzaghi and Paloschi the backups are good ammunitions. We could use Pato, Gomez, Berbatov at the same time if Kaka couldn't play (to play Pato behind the two strikers).

At this moment in time, with the likely transfers being mentioned and renewals. Any player we think that is an upgrade on out strikers etc, is being unrealistic. Look out the same squad bar the addition on Judas, Ferrari (I played in inert 0- 6 Milan), and nothing much else.

How is Gomez any different to Kuranyi? The latter has hardly exploded after a promising start.

Flamini is a must and he should be a starter in our team, no question. He covers a ridiculous amount of ground each game and is better going forward than any of our defensive midfielders.

Lucio. If he's available for about £12 million then i'd give Bayern Kaladze + money, £5 million say. That would leave us a good amount of money to get Zapata & Zambrotta. I've given up all hope of us signing Vargas.

Look at our pathethic display against Atalanta. Who's gonna say we don't need a HUGE overhaul next season. The players played like the UCL spot is eventually reserved for us. And look at where we're standing now. It seems we're playing for a spot in Intertoto now...

im sorry if you guys find this post long, but i had to release some steam after that lost to Atalanta.

We all know milan has a striker problem, however i see the midfield as a bigger problem, the the defense.

After that lost to Atalanta
personally, i think we need to spend more than 100mil this summer, and all we need are three strikers, which i can see us getting relatively cheap.
I kno it is not a smart thing to carry in alot of players at once as it ruins chemistry, but what is the point of chemistry if we are not winning.

If i was manager this would be my chain of taught, to revamp the team.

STRIKER

Eto'o and Benzema are my first choices, but if i was manager i am not willing to spend more than 28mil for a single striker. If eto' can be bought for 20 mil, i would jump on it in a heart beat.(eto, however may not want to be @ milan, because he believes that the racist problem is too much and the fact we are not in champs league position may make him more reluctant to join.)

If eto' or benzema cannot be aquired then,
Berbatov would be great, especially if the addition of simic can reduce the cost, to about 14mil

If a stright swap Olivera for Milito can be made, why not do it. (it doesnt cost us any money.) ( i dont really kno much about Milito, but he seems to be able to score alot in spain, and he is argentine, maybe he can be like Crespo, and i saw somewhere the compared him to the great Batistuta for us)

To me the third choice is between Huntelaar and Gomez.

As far as Boriello goes i really havent got much faith in him, even after a great campaign like this one.

Sheva - No, No, No

Drogba- i never really liked you

Adebayor - nope.

Fabiano - he is good and willing to buy him, but i wouldnt put as a top priority.

Total cost is approx 40 mil to carry three new strikers ( or maybe even less, if we went for huntelaar over gomez, im sure a gourcuff, or Seedorf swap, could be made.)

Striker line - Pato, (eto, benzema, berbatov), Milito, (gomez, huntelaar), Paloshci

Midfield

As i said much change is needed

First
Flamini, if there is any possibility of getting him, expecially for free, i wouldn make it slip.

Jao Mounitho (/sp) - he has his day, where he is impressive, and those when he is not, but as before a have the option of moving seedorf, and i see mounitho as a cheaper younger player, quicker, and he is compared my favorite Portuguese THE LEGENDARY RUI COSTA. I know Lisbon may be asking for alot for him, but with Grimi, i know a reduction is cost can me made, and it isnt like Milan wants Grimi. im thinking a cost somewhere like 15 mil.

Quaresma - this is where most of my midfield budget goes. alot of people say his style wouldnt fit milan, it wouldnt fit Ancelotti, well to me, ancelotti has done everything for Milan, but i see it that we need to part ways, so a new coach is always possible (u will see my choices later on.). They say Milan's Midfield isnt creative, well why not get one of the most creative midfielders in the world. His ability to cross, (yes we need better crosses, oddo, jankuloski, seedorf, favalli aint that good at crossing. and his crossing would be great for Milito, whos is a excellent header, Gomez or Huntelaar, as they are both taller strikers.) his abilty to create somthing out of nothing, his ability to play on th left or right, he can draw more than two defenders, and great play making skills. he will also alow Pato and Kaka to be more deadly, as a said he draws more defenders. im looking to unload up to 35 mil for him. (and i dont want inter to get him.)

Another Midfielder i love is Ibrahim Afellay, why 1 - he is dutch, and i really like dutch attackers. 2 - the say he is an all around midfielder, so he is an AM, CM maybe even a DM or even a winger. His ability to play anywhere in midfield is something i love, and he makes Milan more diverse. looking for a 18 mil deal or less.

Menez - possibilty but not really looking for a deal unless it is really cheap, and Afellay or/and Mountiho could be obtained

Lampard - would be great since he is free, but i think he is too much like Kaka, and Juve seems to be front runners.

Diego - everyone wants diego, to me i dont see an urge for him, asi think we have already too much brasilians, and to me he doesnt bring anything new to the table. and he will cost alot, once again we already have KAKA, i would prefer RVDV

Van Der Vaart - man i love this dude, he is definetly my favourite dutch player, and i am willing to spend big money on him if Mountiho or Quaresma isnt acquired. the reason however i gave preference to quaresma, is becuase, quaresma has rare talent, and he is a winger, and i think milan needs to change its tactics. (where ever van der vaart goes, i wish him the best, however Juve i think is the best place for him).

Ronaldinho, No only if we getting him for free or a minimum cost, then i would take him, since he can also play winger.

Aquilani - no matter how much rumours the are, Roma wont let him go without a fight.

Montovilo - only for a Gila swap

Midfield Line
Gattuso, Quaresma, Mountiho, Afellay, Montovlio, Pirlo, Flamini, KAKA, Ambrosini (i really dont care if he stays or goes)

Mifield Cost approx - 65 mil

Defense

i kno we need some new defender, but defense isnt really my thing, so i can only suggest people, and not alot.

Barzaghi -

Alves -

Mexes -

Defence line
Oddo, Alves, Nesta, Bonera, Barzaghi, Jankuloofksi, Kalazdze, Mexes

Goal Keeper

Lloris and Amelia are my top choices, with Kalac as back up.

i prefer amelia as he is cheaper, domestic and has more expierence.

Coach
Lippi - hands down first choice
Mourinho - second choice.

players in bold are first choices.

Line Up

---------------------------------------Amelia Kalac------------------------------
---------Barzaghi(Oddo,Bonera)------Nesta(Kaladze)----------Mexes(Jankulofski)

------------------------------------Flamini, Gattuso, Pirlo Ambrosini ( i dont like Gattuso or ambro, in attackin positions, they shoud stay as DM)

Alves(Quaresma, Montovio, Afellay)-----------------------------------------------------------Quaresma(afellay, Pirlo)----

----------------------KAKA(Afellay)--------------------Mountiho(Quaresma, Pato)

------------------------(Gomez/Huntelaar)(Milito)---------Pato(Berbatov, Paloschi)

Why this line up, it makes way for 2 strikers and two attckers (or three strikers, 1 attcker) or (1 striker 3 attackers), that makes it diverse and able to take one what ever situation is given. I prefer play three CB, as it guarantees better defensive stops, plus there is also a DM, for more defensive options, instead of two wing backs, i have them as Wingers, i think that makes it better for us. and if you see i have Afellay at multiple positions, thats why i want thin kid.

In total i can approximate a transfer budget of 150 mil to make all these signings happen.

Also Gattuso and Pirlo have been pu to the bench, only because i dont see them playing like how the should.

FOR ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO READ THIS PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR TAUGHTS, REMEBER I KNO ALL MY MOVES WILL NOT BE DONE, BUT AS I SAID AT THE BEGINNING, THIS IS WHAT I WOULD TRY TO DO AS MANGER.

So Milan, that rarely spends big money, signs Milito and Berbatov just to have them coming off the bench? LOL.
If we sign a top striker we should consider ourselves lucky. We would probably have Pato-Borriello-Inzaghi-Paloschi next season, hopefully management realize that it isnt good enough for a side like Milan and bring some 'A' class striker.

Galliani's boys lately:

Gilardino - huge money for motnihg...worst forward in serie a. Or a missjudgement from Galliani or Carlo's fault. Moggi: " gilardino is not worth that kind of money..." I remember that statemant correctly.

Vieri - horrible at Milan, good at Viola.

Oliveira - after SELLING Shevchenko we bought injured Oliveira for 16 mln + very good Vogel

Amoroso - no comment needed.

boriello - loaned out to become the best serie a scorer.

Ronaldo - Il phenomeno, but has no knees!

Emerson - After Redondo and Ronaldo another player that Real sold to us and that was cronically injured.

Oddo - old and turned out to be not good enough. Simple as that.

jankulovski - not aqs good as he was under Spaletti.

Favalli - ??

Bonera - not as ghood as he was at Parma and under Lippi playing for NT.

Gourcuff - you should ask a coach first does he want the player. Turned out not to be New Zidane!!!!!

And so on... loaning Brocchi to play great with Prandelli and then come back to suck again... keeping Serginho who hasnt played for 2 years, Cafu...
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Bought by Leonardo : Kaka' and Pato.

Sold: Sheva without replacement. Rui replaceds with Gourcuff, Stam with bonera...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I dont know what to say. Galliani is not working well, the players were not right. Actually, they were 90% MISSED CASES! But its all nice since you have coach that actually is so afraid that he doest want to say anything, or he just doesnt care and works in nice and conforatbvle Milanello for a huge money while they are making a fool out of hjis reputation. Milan is " a family"! Of course, when all you have is a bunch of veterans that think that they will be here next year as that are all friends with Galliani and Carlo. Its all too relaxed becouse Berlusconi doesnt care too much any mroe, and its time for serious changes. Not just few players, but approach in the club in general!

You want to know what's ironic about all of these transactions? We actually used the excuse of "this player wouldn't fit in our style of play" to reject a lot of good players who came close to signing with us. If these guys you listed are the ones who do "fit" in with our style of play, I don't know what a player who doesn't fit would be like.

It really shouldn't surprise anyone that most of these players turned out to be major busts. After all, their price tag pretty much sealed the deal. Think about it, would anyone sell their star player for a cut down price? Absolutely not! The fact that practically all the players we signed carry a fairly low price tag comparing to the world class players we should be signing is a good indication that these guys just aren't that good. That's why our only good signing the last three or five years has been the expensive Pato. True talent costs money, Galliani and Berlusconi needs to realize that fact before they can make things right again.

Milan definitely needs some shaping up. I'd suggest them buying two attackers, a defensive midfielder and three defenders. This is exactly who I have in mind:

Zambrotta,Toure,Mexes for defence.
Keita -defensive midfielder
and our two attackers I'd presume us to give ronaldinho another shot and I'd like too see benzema or eto'o at milan

as much as this is going to cost us we can probably afford it and its what we need to become what we once were, otherwhys were rather hopeless..??

Some good choices there Payne. I think Afellay would be great as Seedorf replacement. Strikers anyone with a bit of mobility is better than what we have now. Midfield needs a nw box to box player, with subs who can provide width and cover for Kaka & Pirlo. IN def we need new rb, lb, cd, and 3 new keepers, as well as cover for positions.

Keepers In: Lloris, Viviano, Offredi.

Keeprs Out: Dida, Kalac, Fiori.

Def In: Zapata, Zambrotta, Marzoratti, & Vargas in. Albertazzi & Darmian too.

Def Out: Maldini, Cafu, Serginho, Favalli, Simic, Bonera. Age nothing, he 's no good.

Midfield In: Afellay, Queresma, Rosina, Flamini, Menez, Cigarini.

Midfield Out: Brocchi, Emerson, Ba.

Forwards In: Borreillo, Berbatov/Gomez, Ronaldinho.

Forwards Out: Gila, Inzaghi, Ronaldo.

This is what it comes down to. We need a revolution in the playing staff because of Galliani and his bad signings. He should be kicked out too.
