Today the man was brilliant, his speed and technique are great. Passes and crosses, great. Has a very good shot, vision... He could play in front of Pirlo-Flamini and make a grat impact in Milan, and also can be used wide.

And no, Nedved is something more, Nedved was Golden ball player, there will pass some moooore time untill we see a winger like Pavel.

ozil is just like another ribery; have no good players around him and he'll shut himself down. a good player but not enough to turn the game alone by himself.

Don't compare Ozil to the overrated Ribéry (can't make the difference by himself when it is needed in a big game, and he has no talent to play as a playmaker, can't make great passes) ...

IMO, if Ozil isn't better than Ribéry, he's not worth wearing the black and red shirt ...

You're a little harsh . Ribery is overrated for being compared with Zidane, but they belong to two different types, sharing only dribbling skill. Ribery is fast, Zidane isn't (wasn't) but he possessed all the technique (even some defensive ones).

However, Ribery is still one of the best runners with the ball.

Özil, IMO is more of AMC, playmaker. He is better at passing the ball and creativity but Ribery's breakthrough is better.

Why all the talk about players we won't sign??

Are only possible good signings will involve a transfer dealing with a player like the hunter or similiar.

If Napoli are interested I'd try a swap with Santacroce and rip up Yepes contract.

Krasic is very good, Ozil is nice, Ribery is excellent but none of them will come to us...

I've seen him a few times in Germany and only a couple of times for the Dutch. Always thought he can be great within the right circumstances, but I feel like I haven't seen enough to mark him as the next big winger comming from the Netherlands. He definitely has talent.

Anyone here that's seen a lot of him? If so can you give us an opinion?

*By the way we are not linked to him or anything, but I would just like to know more about the player. I will defninitely keep an eye on him myself too.

Trust me guys, nothing will happen & no one will come till the world cup is over, not even the free ones. How can you guys expect some to to come when the free players like Joe Cole, Ballack, that ex-Bordoux Morrocon striker who is now @ Arsenal & Metzelder have already been missed by ACM. Visiting this thread will just raise your B.P levels high. Infect the more possible news you would get here would be like d!da getting a new contract & Pato leaving etc

Just enjoy the World Cup, as you won't see anything like this for the next four years. Mercatos come twice a season, not a big deal.
