u watch Neighbours ? Here in belgium, we are 1,5 year behind of Australia I follow it since i was a little kid, although now i watch it only sometimes.

On-topic : I hope so much that Milan doesn't relegate !! But it doesn't look good. It must be that we cheated since we are charged after big investigations. But i hope on only a point-deduction. Or that we will be released from charges although i don't think that will be the matter ...

Official communication by FIGC is completely unuseful...
What teams are accused of violation of article 1 and what of violation of article 6?
We have to wait some more time...

Of course i can't confirm this since i never saw it officially said, but what all those guys from all the other forums who understand Italian, said, was: Milan won't be relegated !

So...

Have I understood it correctly, if I say that Milan risk a point-deduction ahead of the next season, for knowing about the moggi-system, but not telling? (Or have I mistunderstood? )

Also, could someone elaborate on what articles 1 and 6 say?

Cheers

I am thinking what you are thinking Chris, with the exception being that Meani was using the system, or accused of doing so, rather than us just knowing, and not telling.

oK, this is the last one coming from me because everywhere i look i see something different.
The last report i found :
(ANSA) - Rome, June 21
Four Serie A clubs, referees, officials and club managers will have to stand trial for match-fixing in Italy's biggest-ever sports scandal, Italian soccer Federation (FIGC) prosecutor Stefano Palazzi said on Thursday. Champions Juventus, Lazio, Fiorentina and AC Milan face possible relegation if found guilty by a FIGC tribunal which will convene next week .

FIGC said Palazzi "had notified 30 subjects" that they will be charged with sporting fraud and violations of fairness and probity, according to articles 1 and 6 of the FIGC's sporting regulations .

Juventus, which clinched its 29th Italian title last month, is expected to face the stiffest charges in the trial, due to start on June 27. The Turin giants could be relegated to the third division and lose their two most recent Italian titles, while the other three clubs are likely to be relegated to the second division - although Milan is said to be more heavily implicated. All four clubs would therefore be eliminated from European competition next year .

It is said Milan's situation is now considered to be more serious than that of Lazio and Fiorentina .

In one of the published wiretaps, Milan official Leonardo Meani praises a referee for his handling of a game and even promises that the club's chairman, former premier Silvio Berlusconi, will send him to his hair-transplant doctor in Switzerland .
.

Hi, guys ,this is the latest article from Gazzetta, since I don't really speak Italian, therefore I just want a bit confirmation for my understanding. As far as I understood, this article says that Galliani has quitted from the president of the national professional league, and he (as delegator of Milan?) is faced with charge of violating article 1 of sport justice code. Therefore it means that, at worst, Milan would only be deducted with points and would not be relegated. Is it right?

yes Tony this has been known for a long time...Gattuso even made a reference to it.

Why does not everyone just wait...the only thing that is official is that 4 clubs have been put on trial. No one knows for sure what penalties each are facing...so wait.

Ok this is semi-official..since it is from the gazzetta.

Milan face a charge for Milan-Chievo ... article 1 only.

It has been confirmed by some of my Italian speaking friends...article 6 is the worst...

Good advice Hassan...at least one thing is clear, we are accused of being in breach of Article 1, and nothing more, therefore the max we face is a points deduction...so lets see where that goes...

I am sorry guys, I just got this from Calciomercato.com, it looks like I misunderstood something earlier. The charges for individuals and club subjects are separate... Galliani escaped the charge for violation of article 6, but not Milan club...

what I can read from the following is that :
Galliani : violation of article 1
Meani(who cares him...) : article 1 and 6
Milan : objective responsibility of violation of article 2 (what the hell is this?) comma 3 & 4, article 6 comma 4

As comparison, Juven is charged of:

Moggi & Giraudo: article 1 and 6
Juven club: direct responsibility of violation of article 2 6 9 (woo, quite a lot...)

---------------------------

Gazzetta is the most reliable source guys.

What they have confirmed is Milan have been charged with article 1 responsibility.

Fiorentina, Lazio and Juve have been charged with much more.
