So far, i've accomplished the very first missions, in which from a taxi driver i've got affiliated and connected to Mafia family Salieri, and already proved i got some gut and destroyed some opposite family's mafiosi cars

Btw i will let you know; so far i recommend it
This game is quite famous and I hear it is good. GTA is brilliant imo, but I do think at times its overhyped. I love the freedom of GTA, but its understandable that you get kind of lost when playing them, as at times you might end up wandering around pointlessly

I prefer to be led through a story instead of this freedom

Mafia suits perfectly for me

Well, I don't really think its possible to say GTA lacks storylines, the latest ones have a solid storyline and San Andreas seems to have a good storyline (although its still early to tell).

To me personally, it seems like the structure of the game is really important to you. As in a game must have some linearity in it to feel as though there is a solid progression being made throughout and the focus is always the plot and main events of the game (ie. not being sidetracked)

Speaking of GTA, I started San Andreas today, enjoying it so far, basically just getting the hang of it and doing the early missions.

I totally love stealth games, i loved Hitman 2, obviously doing all the missions with max difficulty and as stealthier as possible

It's truly a challenge and you must use your brain to complete that game with the hardest difficulty as perfect "silent assassin"
I loved MetalGearSolid 2 although there are far too interruptions during the game

Stealth games are very good. MGS2 was excellent and personally, I never thought there were too many interruptions, but I know many who disagree.

Hitman 2 I've never really gotten into, but I know its an excellent game.

Gio, you might want to give Splinter Cell and Tenchu games a try

yes i want, i just wait to be better money wealthy, then i will buy HITMAN CONTRACTS and i heard TENCHU is great..btw which episode of Tenchu?

I wasn't too annoyed by the interruptions of MGS2 but maybe less of them would have let the game play more fluent and enjoyable.

I suggest you to play Hitman, but with the clear target to finish it as stealthily as possible.

I recommend any Tenchu games released so far (there is a new one coming out, but I don't know much about it). However, seeing as Tenchu 1+2 are for PS1, I suggest Tenchu 3

I want to try Hitman, and I will someday, but I never get round to it

I'm not sure if pro-evolution 4 is coming out on the gamecube, so i bought fifa 2005 instead. It's pretty good, although i'm not that great at it. Some of the songs on it are fantastic, "7 days a week" by 'The Sound' is top quality ....

Trying to control 2 players at once though is a little tricky

Your right Jim, PES4 isn't for GC.

FIFA 2005 is meant to be good, but its no where near the quality of PES

btw, San Andreas is awsome

Hitman 2 and Max Payne are great, but I do not have enough time to play all

I'm playing Need for Speed 2 and Football Manager 2005. Cool graphics, the f*** up of NFS2 is that if you collide no damage is done

The first mission is in Sicily..you've got to enter into a Don's house and kill him plus other subtargets..i'm doing it with the max difficulty but i haven't reached the perfection of SILENT ASSASSIN, just the level before of PROFESSIONIST..

It's pretty good if you play it stealthily, on the contrary getting into places and shooting like a crazy will turn to be boring..There's great satisfaction in accoplishing missions without anyone notice it, and believe me, it'll be damn hard with the max level of difficulty..

you can fit into places in disguise, changing your clothes with you victim's ones, but if you pass too closely, guards will recognise you..for ex.you've got to use thier guns, otherwise they will recognise you if you f.ex.carry a knife..the more you kill from short distance and in silence, the more it'll pay off..sometimes the best solution is using a simple sedative, which is damn dangerous though..for ex.. the sicilian rope is the best solution to kill from behind and totally silenced..in the first missions yous guns won't be silenced so you'll have to learn this technique

It's a great game, but remember : play it stealthily and if you accomplish your missions you'll feel a bit like Luca Brasi

Hitman : Contracts (Third instalment in the series) has been out for the PC for close to a year now. It does not have any new missions, but updated versions of missions from the first two games. Pretty good stuff. The missions now progress in a slightly more believeable fashion.

I loved the way they updated the Lee-Hong assassination mission (from the first game). Definitely worth checking out.
