Im sure they dont feel that way, but please look above and youll see I always said Zambrotta is better than both of them. No matter what Argentina or Italy did in the WC. we all know what can Heinze and what can Zambrotta do on the field. And I doubt any coach in the world would choose Heinze or Sorin in front of Zambrotta. Stop reading papers and start watching.

Anyway, I am sure lot's of people wish they could understand football as well as you do but just so you know, noy everyone feels that way
I don't know how you can say Zambrotta only played well in one game. He has been consistent for years, not just one game, its sad that you think that

I also agree that zlatanov is mistaken. Zambrotta has been so consistent for Juventus and Italy for years now. Even when Juve got knocked out of CL, he was always there best performer. On the otherhand, if you said Cannavaro is having an unusual great World Cup, I might agree cuz he hasn't been so consistent during the season. But Zambrotta is simply amazing throughout the years, game in game out. I really can't remember him having a bad game (except games that he came back from injury). You also shouldnt forget that he was injured just before the WC and only started by the 2nd game. Its true he had a great game, one of his best maybe, but it is certainly not the game of his life. He played RB, scored a goal and had a goal line clearance, the moved to LM and did excellent work down the flank to assist the 3rd goal.

Zambrotta is the world's best LB and has been for a while. I think he earns that praise mainly because of his consistency. Im surprise zlatanov that you dont notice this because you always give credit when its due.

well, that's because I didn't say it. What is even sadder is that people are so quick to critisize after they've merely read other posts between the lines.
Zambrotta is a very consistent player and plays very, very well on a regular basis. The game he had vs Ukraine, however, was not just a very very good game by him, it was a great, an incredible game that he had. Does he have such games every other day? No, in reality it's at best once every couple of years that he may have such a great game.
yet, yesterday's game was used to make a comparison with other players who are also very consistent performers but had only a very good game at the moment when Zambrotta was having probably the best game of his career so far. Now, I don;t think it is a fair comparison and if you guys expect that Zambrotta at Milan will regularly score a goal, set up another and clear off the line in one single game for us, well, keep dreaming.
You guys have allowed the emotions of his last performance to completely overtake your ability of a fair and clear judgement.

that's quite an intriguing statement by someone who often bases his opinion on what a man supposedly "close to Milan" has said on Croatian TV or in a croatian newspaper, words that are hardly ever reported by any other media, as well.

well at least you see him as being very good consistently, that we agree on. But I think he does assist once every 3 or 4 games. He is always always always a menace on the left flank no matter how strong the opponent is. He always breaks through down the left flank and sends in dangerous crosses which should end up as goals. His cut-ins through into the penalty area is also great and not matched by other left-backs (just like the 3rd goal yesterday).

I agree with mrki that Zambrotta ATM, is at least a class above Heinze and Sorin. In terms of anything, assists, threat, defense, all in all. Maybe they can be faster than him, but really whats the use of their speed if they cant use it properly. I think Gianluca is a better overall player. I think even Ashley Cole is better than Sorin and Heinze (and im not really fond of English players).

But remember how important Pancaro was for us in 04/05? I think if we get Zambrotta, he will be more consistent, and will provide more assists and provide solidity at the back as well.

Zlatanov, you know it well I am talking about judging certain players abilities by watching them carefully on and off the ball, and not by just listening what comentators are saying. Anyway, I know I overreact sometimes coz im a temperament guy so... Anyway, Zambrotta is the best

Hmmm... Seems like Berlusconi have to start doing business with Zambrotta. We can't let this one slip away!

Berlu will not let Zambrotta slips away, and if Berlu is serious about getting Milan on track, he must get Zambrotta and send a message out to everyone that Milan is BACK IN BUSINESS and not OUT OF BUSINESS

non of the italian sites have picked it up yet, so they might just be "meeting over deal", nothing offical yet.

Cannavaro and Emerson to Real Madrid
The pair signed for two seasons with a further one-year option as they rejoined Real's former Juve coach Fabio Capello
