mr Graeme C
all u said about the transfer season for us is true.for me i feel sad, afraid and angry.we need players in our team not for making fans happy
but cause we have alot of weak positions in our team.i want to give mr giliani and berlisconi the oscar prize cause they are clever actors.every day they tell us about players and negotiations with another teams until the market closed.if berlisconi wants ronaldinio for 100 milion euro so why didn`t he pay just 50 or 60 for helping our team????????
another question if real madrid,chelsea,inter,juvu,m.united,.... needs two players arn`t top stars as oddo, galace does that need from any of them more than three or four days?????????
my friends the new story will begin today or tomorrow with new fauls until january then we will gain big zero.
god saves our team and honor will be forever for milan and hill for enemies.

We don't need players in January. We need them NOW. Our defence is 2 injuries away from disaster - Nesta & KK. Billy, Paolo, Simic, Cafu & Serginho will prob spend more time on the operation table, than the pitch. IMO Marzoratti would have been better to hold onto than buying Favalli or Bonera.
Our midfield lacks options for def mid with Ambro's constant injuries, and the loaning of Foggia is ridiculous. upfront only Inzaghi is guarantee of goals, and once again we are an injury away from disaster.

The management should apologise for this sorry excuse of a transfer campaign. Lies from the start. Shameful.

Another thing about the Oliviera signing is that he wasn't consider by the posters here as a replacement for the ES in the poll in the Transfers Section, yet they claim to be happy with his signing despite him not being mentioned by anyone here b4 the papers mentioned him being linked with us.

If Milan are happy with signing mediocre players, then I'm available to play. Can't do any worse than some of the jokes wearing our jersey.

You haven't even seen him play for Milan yet he's a mediocre player ? Yet he scored more goals in La Liga than the same Fernando Torres who some posters want us to spend 30-40m on. I'm not saying you're one of them.. but because the guy isnt overhyped like some of the players who people claim to be "better replacements for Shevchenko" and he doesn't cost 30m doesn't mean he can't make a positive impact on the team.

look guys whats done its done, I doubt anybody here in MM is happy with the current situation, but pls can we star being more constructive rather than destructive. Pls dont forget that this managament has given some great moments to all of us, few other fans can say that about their teams,Galiani and Braida are humans too, they too can make mistakes, anyway its not the end of the world.

Hopefully this clears up our failure to get Tevez:

Tevez and Mascherano are going to play for Chelsea in season or two, mark my words. But someone said it right, Galliani, Braida and Berlusconi should apologise or do something in january. Curva sud had clear note in the TIM cup: " others reinforce, we watch ". This transfer period was not done properly and fully professionally. And what kind of a coach is that Carlo when he cant even ask for 1 or 2 deceent players that he needs. Do does he need anyone at all??? Loaning great player like Foggia that can change tempo at any time of the game, and is our ONLY palyer that can be right winger, and not getting Oddo??!! ( Foggia: Carlo said goodbye to me..." ) BRAVO CARLO!! What was that?? Cafu is old, he'll get injured sooner or later this season. Maldini too, Billy as well.Serginho is 34, pippo is 33 and if he gets another heavy injury it over, Dida is leaving next year, and so on....EVEN IF we buy Ronaldinho for some 100mil, we still need one good CB, RB, GK. so next year we need like 100000000000 pounds to get it right...god save us with this policy.

Haha. Oh, my goodness. So you don't want Oliveira because he wasn't listed in a poll that was posted by one person just thinking up people off the top of his head? The truth is, Oliveira is a better player than half the players on that poll and a better fit for Milan than most of the others. Nobody mentioning him means diddly-squat. Nobody mentioned Wayne Rooney either, but that doesn't mean he exactly sucks. The players who were being mentioned were players who were being linked either to Milan or to moves away from their current clubs to others. Being mentioned in a message board discussion isn't the be-all and end-all of whether or not a player is any good.

The fact that most of the posters here who have actually seen Oliveira play with any frequency have no problem with the move. It's only the ones who need newspaper hype who seem to be complaining. Everybody would have liked to have had Thierry Henry, but unfortunately he wasn't available.

As for your comparison of yourself with the players Milan brought in this summer, that doesn't even deserve a response so I won't bother. But if you think they are jokes then why don't we just wait a while and see if, indeed, the joke isn't actually on you.

Considering the amount of players that were put on the list you would have thought someone would have mentioned him as an option. We have to be realistic in some respect ie Rooney, but the likes of Henry, Crespo, or Tevez would be better options than Oliveira, but our management are too stingy and slow to get these players.

You don't see a flaw in our transfers when we sign Coppolla one week, just to loan him out the next week??? If that's not bad management then what is??

Unfortunately I don't think the joke will be on me, with the lack of quality in the squad. If I had Seedorf as a mate, like Esjas maybe I would be given the odd match too.

We where linked to a lot of players but in the end no one came. We lost 3 confirmed players as Stam, Rui Costa and Sheva and signed Bonera which is ok but nothing special, Gourcuff (still to proove himself) and Oliveria that no one knew about him till 1 week ago.

Fortunetly yesterday curva sud said 'We fill up the stadium for the premilinart and you don't but any player becasue they cost a lot'. Lost also another young player with good prospect Foggia.

Thats the main point im angry about, im not that bothered about stars and names, its just depth and reinforcing the squad! common i really wanted Oddo to join Milan, and he isnt a superstar! We all thought we were going to get a tall defensive midfielder aswell to take the preasure off Pirlo..

the way i look at it next season we will need at least

Goalkeeper

GK to replace Dida---- Buffon £25 mil / Amelia £10 mill

Defenders

CB to Replace Billy-- Chivu £15 mil / Barzagli £10 Mill+ (gallas now at Arsenal)
LB to replace Serghino--- Zambrotta £10 mill (he will be 30) / Pasquale £8 mill
RB to replace Oddo--- Oddo £6 mill + take Mazoratti back from loan.

This is without thinking about Maldini and Simic!

Midfield

-- we need a tall defensive midfielder, considering Ambrosini spends more time injured than playing....

Maresca or someone.. considering both Diarra and masherano have moved on! And now another cover for Pirlo, that is if he desides to extend his contract!

Forwards

If inzaghi leaves next season we will be in trouble!

Torres £25+ ( his price might go up)
Huntelaar £15+ ish?
G Rossi £?

Like Debs i think they have just made us look like fools!!! im glad the Curva sud showed that were not happy!

the thing I just realised and made me shout out of dissapointment is....Pedretti was sold to AUXERRE for 6 lousy mil! That would heve been an IDEAL backup for Pirlo. A player that is young, has potential, has pass and technique and so on....and he was sold to Auxerre...too bad really we are not the team that reacts fast.

I don't think anyone is being "destructive" in stating their disappointment, in fact I think most people are being quite matter of fact in saying, "hey, we needed players of a certain caliber and we didn't get them and we look kind of weak in not being able to land those players." The real destructive posting comes during the season when the boo-birds and naysayers cut the team up one side and down the other over losing, tying, not winning by a large enough margin, missing shots, playing too passively, playing too aggressively, letting a player go past them, having too many players on an opponent, not having enough people back on defense, having too many people back on defense.....

Well, I think you get the idea. During the season you'll see posts from people who are never happy with the team no matter what. Right NOW I think we're blowing off steam b/c A) our management did indeed say they had a big surprise signing in store for us and B) at least as I look at it, we fans are feeling trepidation over the upcoming season. Seems perfectly normal for us to be feeling a little uneasy as the season starts, b/c right NOW we have alot of unanswered questions, the main one being....how will this squad perform?

Transfer season and what it brought or didn't bring certainly isn't the end of the world, I totally agree. What's going to be...no, let me re-phrase that....what some people are going to make sound like the end of the world is when we lose a game, be it in league play or in CL play. Stuff like that bothers me, stuff like this transfer season bothers me...but it's still my team. Nowhere in my postings have I ever said i will not support my team, and no one here has said that either!

From Graeme's post (too much to quote it here again), the best thing I can rescue is the idea of Enzo Maresca... did Juve sell him to Sevilla, or is he there on loan?

He has done really well there... helping them win UEFA Cup and Supercup... scoring in both finals on top of everything...

but please, please, stop talking about Torres...
