I'm sure he won't be going anywhere after today's statement from Galliani. I am relieved by that. I hope he gets an extension by the end of this season for another 2 years. Ancelotti is a genius, we cannot lose this guy!

I also believe Ancelotti should stay. He is a true Milan man, and the problems this season is not his fault. He will take us far in the Champions League this season, and secure a 4th position in the league. I truly believe that.
This is not a "normal" season, because of the points deduction and the chaos in the summer, which messed up our transfer campaign. The World Cup players did not get any rest at all - and remember Sheva left also. Milan will be firing on all guns again next season...

I hoping Lippi can end up in Milan as he is THE BEST coach in the world. Carlo's time is ower, and Milan needs refreshment.

MIlan needs refreshment, but sacking Carlo and replacing him with Lippi is, unfortunately, not the long term answer.

NEverthless, if there is one coach that replaces Ancelotti, it's him.

Lippi would bring too much drama to this club. We have enough drama already. His ego would conflict with that of the executives and that would be nothing but trouble for this club. Nice that he won a World Cup... doesnt make him god even though he may feel and think so.

Milan should start a new cycle
If they want to do that they shoud either cange Ancelotti or rehresh the team with new young players

If Milan will sign 3 or 4 players (Marcelo ,Higuain, Gago .....) Ancelotti should remain Milan's coach

Why do we blame Carlo, then Gali ? everything is directed by Berlusconi so we must blame the big boss first. I thing after 20 glorious years Berlu has lost quite a bit of enthusiasm on the club, look at his transfer policy. It is time for him to sell the club to someone else with fresh love for the name AC milan

Thumbs up

SILVIO BERLUSCONI: 'Ancelotti is untouchable'
11/12/2006

'Our Carletto is untouchable.' This is what president Silvio Berlusconi had to say as he confirmed his faith in Ancelotti. As he left the stadium, he said: 'It didn't seem as if Milan played that badly.' Kaką added: 'Berlusconi came to the dressing room after the encounter. He told coach Ancelotti to stay tough and that with will and strength we will come out of it. He said, 'Don't give up'.'

-------------------------------------------------

This is simply great. This should shut the mouths of all the people/press who say its time for him to pack his bags. I was hoping since a long time that Silvio would say something good about about Carlo as everyone blindly is blaming him for our losses. Bravo Berlu!

Recall: When Sacchi had joined Milan, there was a bad patch just like this and he was solely being blamed for it. At that time Berlu said similar things about Sachhi and then came the era where we wrote the most exciting history of modern club football. May be it will happen this time too ...

sacking Ancelotti would solve nothing, especially at the middle of a season. It would only bring more drama and chaos to the team. i am glad that Berlusconi made that statement, whether he means it or not.

Milan should keep Ancelotti. The problem is that this season started with too much of drama for Milan. First it was Shevchenko's transfer. Then came the calciopoli scandal. The players didn't recover well from their respective world cup campaigns. A new cycle can only start by purchasing new players. We really need to let some of our old guards go. Especially Favalli, Costacurta and maybe Cafu and Maldini. Seriously, it's time they moved on. Oddo, Barzagli, Bonera and Zambrotta can form the new backline.

In midfield, Seedorf should leave. Milan can replace him with Sneijder. Hopefully, we can exchange Jankulovski for Aquilani. Diego would be a good addition as he can be Kaka's back-up. De Jong will also be a another good signing. A versatile player.

In attack, we need someone who can replace Sheva. Maybe Suazo or Tevez.

In conclusion, i feel that Ancelotti should stay. Sacking him will only make matters worse

From your mouth to Gods ears
Sometimes Carlito annoys me a lot with his, ehm, lets say..problematic..team selection..eXamples?

Playing the whole first team vs Anderlecht both times when we didnt needed to score an away draw and a minimal home win and concentrate on the Serie A instead. For example, Kaka played almost the game of his life at the San Siro vs Anderlecht when he should've realy been rested. But poor squad selection is nothing new for Carlito, there were numerous examples of killing a fly with a cannon in the past, whats new is that this season results are unquestionably suffring because of this.

How long do you think we have to go on with bad results in order for things to change, the longer the bad results go on, the harder it is to get up the table.. Im not calling for head to be chopped, but just think logically about it, think about the 4/5 years we have had.
